"TIME CHECK! SEVEN FORTY AM! We'll be boarding in twenty-minutes!" One of the teachers shouted.
All the seniors all gathered in their terminal at Jeju International Airport. Chatting, napping, on their phones, etc.
Everyone seemed so peaceful, except for one.
Jisoo for the past hour have been spacing out. Physically she was there with her three closest friends, but her mind were somewhere else.
"Hellooooo Jisooo" Lisa tried to wave in front of her vision.
Startled, Jisoo finally in her senses, "Hmm?" she asked cluelessly.
"Did you even hear anything we've been saying?"
"Oh uh sorry guys, I- I just didn't get enough sleep thats why." Jisoo replied. Truly no lie was said, she barely slept. Coming in her room at four am then her thoughts occupied with Taehyung plus Eunwoo definitely didn't help her fall asleep.
The girls on the other hand didn't buy her excuse one bit. They knew all too well it was because of Taehyung.
"I'm just going to buy a water bottle I'll be right back." Jisoo remarked, leaving the girls look at her with genuine concern.
"She's going to be okay right?" Rosé asks, her eyes sad seeing her friend in that state.
"She will, she's strong." Jennie reassured.
Waiting in line, Jisoo seemed to have forgotten her phone back at their terminal. Not having anything to distract her, she scanned around the airport. Observing the handful amount of people headed to their destination.
In her dismay, her eyes landed on the last person she wanted to see, but in contradiction it was also the person she's been seeking.
Behind the masked smile she wears on her face, there is sadness and shock.
There he was, V, and there she was, Tzuyu. They seem to be waiting in line for some food as well.
Her heart sank, this is the first time she saw him. First time since that night.
His eyes diverting to her direction, their eyes finally meeting.
Jisoo gathered courage, taking a few steps towards him. Jisoo knew that she needed answers, she's not going to assume and run away this time. She'll face him and demand an explanation. There has to be reason Jisoo thought, theres no way he would just leave her hanging.
But as Jisoo walked small steps towards him, his gaze became cold, breaking their eye contact, as he looked to his side, Tzuyu's side.
Jisoo watched the two converse with another like she was the second lead in a k-drama watching the first leads get the happily ever after they deserved.
Jisoo then felt a pair of hands placed on top of her shoulders, looking up she found Eunwoo looking at her with a concern.
A faint smile Jisoo let out, leaving Eunwoo behind as she walk back to their terminal.
Eunwoo looks back at where Jisoo once focused on, Taehyung stares back at him with his hands clutched into a fist.
A silent staring battle between the two that was quickly broken once the airports intercom announced the boarding of their flight.
