"Why are we here?"
"Clark asked us to come down for one of his practices."
"He plays football?"
"Yes Sarah he does."
"Could you control yourself at that age?"
"Barely and my dad wouldn't let me do anything."
"You were still learning."
"I freaked out in class because my xray vision came in. It was bad."
"How old were you?"
"Maybe 10. They called my mom."
"I lite the classroom on fire." Clark whispered walking up to them.
"Heat?"
"Yup." Clark nodded.
"So playing football, huh kid."
"Kid?"
"Shall we discuss my age again?"
"No, you two staying?"
"Yes. And what's with your friend?"
"I have no idea. Its been a strange week."
"I bet, your couch is trying to get your attention."
Clark looked at his coach and headed to the field. Sarah had an uneasy feeling looking at the cheerleaders.
"What do you sense?"
"I don't know."
"Sarah."
"Its the feelings I'm getting from the girls. You know my powers and my empathic abilities and of course the fact that I can read their minds they have so many bad intentions. I don't know if I can sit here during the practice."
"Did you ever go to high school?"
"No, we don't have that." Sarah laughed.
"Emotions are normal at this age."
Sarah wasn't sure but said nothing, but it was young Clark that came running when he noticed blood coming from her eyes.
"Sarah, are you alright? You're bleeding." He said quietly, he handed her a towel. She looked at him oddly as her own Clark looked at her.
"Sarah, when did you bleed from the eyes before?"
"The night you died why?"
"Your crying blood."
"All these emotions have mine on overdrive."
"How is that possible? We live in Metropolis, there are so many emotions."
"I don't know, something is messing with mine."
"Alright, come on let's get away from here."
"Why not wait by the truck I'll be done soon."
"Sounds good." Clark took Sarah by the hand and led her from the field. Sarah looked around, she could feel almost evil presence. Clark stopped suddenly when a young bald man stopped them.
"You seem to know Clark Kent."
"Yes, he's our cousin, well my cousin. I'm Joseph this is my fiance Sarah."
"Joseph?"
"Yes, my first name is the same as Clark's middle name. As you can tell I am older. Who are you?"
"Sorry. I'm Lex Luthor."
"Nice to meet you."
"What brings you to Smallville?"
"An unexpected visit." Clark said to him.
"Are you feeling alright miss?" Lex asked. Clark could see panic in Sarah's eyes.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"What very unique eyes."
"Colored contacts." Clark said quickly.
"Oh, those must have cost a fortune."
"It was nice to meet you Mr. Luthor, Clark will be waiting for us."
"Its Lex and have a nice day."
Clark led Sarah away from Lex knowing she was losing her mind. They stood next to the truck as Clark walked up to them.
"You better Sarah?"
"She was calming down until Lex Luthor approached us."
"I thought he had left."
"Our Lex is the reason I was gone."
"Not good, let's get back to the farm."
Clark pulled the truck into the yard and Sarah nearly leapt from the truck only to nearly fall over at the sight of a strange car.
"Its just Lois."
"That's not helping." Sarah said to him.
"We've got the weekend off soon. Maybe you guys will be able to get back home."
"Why are you in such a rush to get your family to go home?"
"Sarah has a story due at work next week."
"A story?"
"Well I am a part time reporter. But I am a full time personal assistant."
"Really? How did you get the time off?"
"It was a surprise visit. Why are you back Lois?"
"Just picking up a few things. So I will see you at the school tomorrow.:
Sarah watched the car pull down the driveway, she dropped to her knees, both men reached down for her.
"I'm fine. I held my power in allot longer than I usually do." Sarah told them.
