Sarah walked down the stairs and looked at everyone and smiled.
"Well look who's up." Martha said looking at her. Sarah smiled nodded.
"I am going to go to the barn to meditate."
"I'll go with you."
"Sure." Sarah took Clark by the hand and let him lead her to the barn.
"My son cares about Sarah."
"It looks like you all do. Sarah being from another world in her own right never had human parents, not like Clark and I. She never had a chance to actually see what it was to be human. Even when I first met her, I didn't know she wasn't human, not until someone injured her."
"How would you found out then?"
"Unlike our blood, her blood isn't red."
"What color is it?"
"Blue, hers is blue. When she was accidentally shot even her boss Bruce Wayne didn't know until that moment. That also meant we couldn't take her to a normal ER, Bruce took care of her until she was better. Many people thought they would fall in love. Instead I became the lucky man."
"You love her allot don't you?" Martha asked seeing the smile on his face.
"I do, and to think we came here by no choice of our own. What bothers me is I am betting we went back in time. I would think your son would be older."
"He will be 18 in a few weeks. Why don't you go get them, dinner is ready."
"Alright." Clark said to Martha, he walked outside and stopped suddenly when he saw this world's Lex Luthor.
"Can I help you?" He asked the man standing before him.
"I was looking for Clark, I came to apologize."
"He should be in the barn with his cousin."
"I just looked there is no one in there."
Clark looked at Lex, he could hear his heart beat and could tell that either the young man before him was an excellent liar, or he was being truthful. He looked over to see Lois coming from the barn.
"Joseph. Have you seen Clark?"
"He was in the barn with Sarah."
"There's no one in there."
"Maybe they went for a walk. I'll let Clark know your both looking for him." Clark told them, he watched Lex get into his car and then looked at Lois.
"You staying?"
"Nope, I'll come back, just give me a call when he gets back."

Sarah moaned as she tried to move, she growled as she tried to pull on the chains, she felt a hand touch her own.
"That hurts." Came a male voice behind her
"Clark?"
"Yup."
"How did they get you?"
"No idea. But my head is throbbing."
"I know that feeling. This has nothing to do with your friend."
"I guessed that much. Who are they?" He asked as several men entered the room.
"So princess, thought hiding on another world in another time would keep us from finding you?"
"Jacob. I should have known this was your handiwork. Only you would know how to do this. But what of the boy?"
"Oh the young Kryptonian? We knew from your own, so we felt he was the same."
"What do you want Jacob?"
"What I always wanted, you were to be my bride."
"Clark and I have already wed, and in front of an elder. Do you no longer check such things? My father thought highly of you, until you betrayed him. When his only daughter told you no and you became enraged. Your a fool Jacob as you have always been."
"You best be telling the truth you know our kind mates for life."
"It is very true, ask Elder Agatha, she was the one that proceeded over the binding ceremony."
She never told her Clark what the ceremony meant they did but she knew it would save both their lives some day, instead of it saving hers and her Clark it was going to save her and this world's Clark.
"We shall see, until that time you will remain here, those enchanted chains will keep you from using your powers, and we are able to do the same with the boy."
"Release us Jacob, if the elders hear of this it could mean your life."
"They won't even know, now be a good girl and just sit here quietly. We mustn't desterb your father during his slumber."
"And if I'm not?"
"I will have you both gagged. And hung from a chain, I know the pain would be unbearable but it would bring me such pleasure."
Clark touched Sarah's hand and he noticed she calmed some.
Jacob and his guards turned and left them alone in the cell.
"He'll find us, just stay calm."
"Not here he won't. This is my world. Unless he finds my talesment, if he finds that he may find us."
"Just have faith."
"You are like him. You may as well rest, we will be here a while."

Clark looked around and found the clothes they had arrived with and began digging through the pockets of the clean folded clothes.
"What are you looking for?"
"Sarah always kept a silver etched pendant in her pocket never really told me why. It doesn't seem to be here."
"You mean this?" Martha asked holding it out.
"Yes that is it. Thank you."
"What are you going to do with it?"
"I have no idea, but I will bring them both back here. I just wish she would have told me what it was for."
"You'll figure it out. Come downstairs and we can work together as a family on this."
"Thanks."
