His fears

Clark walked into the room where Johnathan was sitting with Martha.
"I see your awake. How are you feeling Mrs. Kent?"
"Like a house fell on me. Johnathan tells me Sarah was hurt. I didn't know that was possible?"
"It is, and it will take a while but she will heal. Who shot her?"
"A crazed former coach, have you seen Clark?"
"We were separated after the meteor shower started. Last I saw him he had entered the cave. I came back to the house, I felt there was something wrong with Sarah."
"She was shot and it looked as if she tried to deflect the shot, but still got it in the shoulder."
"I figured I am going to check on her, I am glad you are alright."
Clark stepped into the hall, he walked up to a nurse.
"I am looking for the young woman I brought in."
"The doctor is still examining her, but if you would like to come with me." The nurse led him down a hallway to a curtained off room, she slid the curtain back the doctor looked up.
"You must be Joseph."
"Yes, Sarah is my fiance. We are here visiting family. Is she alright?"
"Is it your family or hers?"
"Mine, Sarah's family died when she was young."
"We will be taking her in for surgery for the bullet wound, we are shocked that it didn't kill her and to find she was caught in the house with the Kent's its even a miracle she is alive at all."
"Sarah is a fighter. Please take good care of her. She is my world, I will be in with the Kents."
"I will send someone to come get you once we are out of surgery."
"Thank you."
Clark leaned forward and kissed her forehead before stepping away from the bed.
"You know she can't have that surgery."
"Why are you here? How did you get here?"
"I felt her injury, I am her twin brother after all."
"You took her and young Clark and nearly killed them both. Yet you now say she can't have surgery that could help her."
"Her blood isn't like yours Kryptonian."
"This I know, but it seems when I pulled her from the wreckage her blood was red. Leave it alone, you made your choice, go back to your kingdom and leave us alone."
"I can return you to your home."
"If you could do that you would have already. You beat them half to death. Leave us Marcus, we will get home on our own."
"As you wish." Marcus answered disappearing. Clark shook his head and then looked down the hall.
"Clark?"
"Hey."
"Why are you being so suspicious? Your folks are worried."
"I know. Whats wrong?"
"I didn't get back in time."
"Time for what? How are you bleeding?"
"I'm human, his punishment for me not coming back to start my training."
"Where is he?"
"You can't do anything."
"You would be amazed what I can do. Where is he?"
"Artic circle, can't miss it, looks like an ice castle. Please don't make it worse."
"Believe me I won't, a voice doesn't scare me. And as I am not his son, he can't do anything to me."
"Just please stay here. Where is Sarah?"
"She was hurt,  she is in surgery."
"Stay she will want to see you when she gets out. If this gets worse you and I will go together alright?"
"Alright. You seem to act older than you are."
"At times. And it seems that it is true what Sarah said."
"And what was that?"
"You can be as immature as I can be."
"At times. Come on let's go check on your mom, I think they said she could go home later."
