Sarah looked at Clark, wondering how she could understand what was going on in his head. It wasn't the first morning that she had come down to find him in a nightmare. Her Clark took her hand and led her outside.
"Sarah what did you see?"
"It was just jumbled and strange."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I couldn't even make any sense out of it, maybe its just a bad dream. Why don't we get changed for his graduation."
"That would be a good idea." Clark said to her. Sarah took his hand and they headed upstairs.
Lois had arrived while they were changing. Sarah smiled at her and held Clark's hand.
"Hey you two, you look beautiful Sarah."
"Thank you. You look lovely too."
Clark looked at Johnathan and Martha.
"Ready?"
"Yes."
They all arrived at the graduation site,  Sarah and Clark sat with Johnathan and Martha.  Sarah smiled as she saw Clark walk across the stage, she looked around when she heard a siren and then large military vehicles pull into the grassy area. Sarah closed her eyes to keep the high emotions at bay, fear was a huge one and she could barely contain the emotions.
"You ok?"
"Yeah. I'm fine. I'm guessing we need to go."
"I need go find my friend."
"Alright,  are you sure?" Sarah asked looking at the younger man.
"Lana isn't here I need to know she is alright."
"The last meteor shower, those could kill you."
"I'll be fine, I'll be back before it hits."
"I'll go with him."
"Be careful both of you." Sarah said kissing her Clark quickly and then she turned and followed Johnathan and Martha.
"He will be alright, Clark can fly them out if needed."
"Sweetheart, those meteors are kryptonite."
"What?"
"I thought you misunderstood."
"Then I have to go, I need to help them."
"Let them do what they need to, you have faith in your Clark and we have faith, fear but faith in our son."
Sarah nodded and climbed into the truck.
Sarah sighed and climbed into the truck.
Sarah had started helping the Kent's bring things down and take them to the truck when she was surprised when young Clark appeared and then her own walked in the door.
"What's wrong?" She asked touching Clark on the face.
"He needs to find some stones. I have no idea but I won't let him do it alone."
"Are you both going to be safe?"
"Yeah we should be fine. Just stay with the Kent's please."
"I will please be safe."
"I love you. Don't use your powers unless you have to."
"I know, and I love you too."  Sarah watched both turn and take off. She turned and looked at Martha.
"Have faith they will be fine, let's get out of here."
Sarah nodded and climbed into the packed truck, they made it to the end of the driveway when another truck stopped them. A very angry and distraught young man stepped from the truck with a shot gun in his hands. Sarah looked and knew she could use her powers but even if this young man had a gun, he wouldn't hurt them would he? She needed to be able to touch him to see what was going on in his head.
Sarah stood off to one side, the young man turned toward her. She had seen him before, Clark's coach if she recalled correctly.
"What do you want here? With these people?"
"What do you know about the stones, I don't ever hear Clark speak of family other than his parents."
"I am his cousin, why are you doing this?" She asked moving forward, he raised his gun and fired, Sarah tried to deflect the shot but it slammed into her shoulder with such force that she flew backwards slamming into the kitchen island. She fell to the ground gasping for air, her eyes turned upward as she heard the sound that came with the shaking and everything went black.
Clark stopped and looked up, young Clark turned and looked at him.
"What's wrong?"
"Something is wrong with Sarah."
"How do you know?"
"We have a sort of link. She's been hurt, I need to get back to her."
"With this meteor shower it wouldn't be safe. Let's get back to the cave with this last piece as soon as I deal with that you can head back. I bet she's fine."
"I hope so, I've left her before. I won't lose her."
"I know. Lets go."
They both walked into the cave and Clark looked around, he couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong.
"Clark, go do what you need, fulfill something that has been set in motion before you were of age. I will find you once I know what happened."
"I'll hold you to that. Check on my folks too."
"I will, now go."
Young Clark nodded and watched as Clark left him alone in the cave.
Clark arrived at the farm and saw the destruction. The house was nearly demolished as he could see a meteor had slammed into it.
"Mr and Mrs Kent, Sarah."
"Right here Clark, I can't find Martha."
Both men turned to see Lois enter the wrecked home. Clark knew he couldn't use his strength around Lois. He began looking around as Lois helped find Martha.
"I found her." Lois said suddenly.
"Martha or Sarah?"
"I found Mrs. Kent."
"Is she?"
"She's badly hurt and barely breathing."
"Can you help me get her out of here?" Johnathan asked Lois.
"Yes, Joseph are you alright?"
"I am looking for Sarah she was here too."
"I'll stay if you need me."
"Go, help Martha. I'll find Sarah."
"Alright." Lois said helping get Martha to the truck,  she would follow Johnathan to the hospital. Once Clark knew they were gone, he threw pieces of the house around until he found an unconscious and bleeding Sarah.
"Don't you dare die on me, not here." He said lifting her limp form into his arms. He stepped out of the house looked around, holding Sarah close he took to the sky. He landed close to the hospital and walked inside. He looked down and could see the wound was healing itself but not quick enough and she had lost allot of blood. A nurse and doctor approached him with a gurney and he placed Sarah on it and watched as they wheeled her away. His would was falling apart as he hoped that both Martha and Sarah would survive this.
