Nate, wait up." I called as the bell rang and we got up to leave. "Where is he? I need to talk to him."
"I don't think it's such a good idea." He said as he waited for me to reach him.
"Why not? I mean, I just want to clear things up." I asked.
"I know but let me talk to him first, okay? I will text you." We started walking towards our next class.
I bit my lower lip, "You sure?"
"Yeah, if everything goes fine and he doesn't blow up, then I will text you with the address of wherever he is."
"Ohkay." I turned to enter my class as we bid goodbye and he left for his.
Nate: You know his home address?
Me: Yeah, is he there?
Nate: Yup.
All the best!
Don't screw up. I would like both of you alive.
Me: Hilarious.
But yeah, will try not to piss him off.
Nate: Tell me how it goes.
Me: Will do.
With that I locked my phone and straightened up. "Well Nick's at his home. Nate just texted."
"You are visiting now?" Em asked as she slid down from her car hood. I nodded. "Well call me after you're done."
"If he doesn't kill me, then sure." I grinned.
"Oh please. You're going to be just fine." She rolled her hazel eyes.
I got in my car and drove to the King's home. Although we lived in the same locality, their mansion was way bigger. Reason? I have no freaking clue.
As I neared the gated house, I thought back to the last time I was here. Not a particularly pleasant memory. There was a lot of crying and tearful goodbyes. The watchman on the gate stopped me and knocked on the window.
"Sam it's me." I rolled down and smiled at the man.
"Ms. Parker. It's been a while." He smiled back.
Sam had been the King's watchman for a long time now. So he knew all about mine and Nick's friendship, or rather the lack of it. No wonder his eyes widened as I told him I was here to visit the blue-eyed-idiot. Nonetheless he let me in. I parked my car and got out.
I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. Let's get over with this.
I could hear footsteps before the door opened but when it did I looked up to find a pair of electric blue eyes staring at me as they looked at me in surprise. Black hair, eyes as blue as they could be, but instead of a smirk that the younger version always had, he adorned a huge smile as he engulfed me in a hug.
