"Here's your room." Nick announced as we reached it. He opened the door and led me in, all the while still holding my hand. "It's not much, Sophia hasn't started working on the rooms with all the other things going on."

"That's fine." I waved him off with my free hand.

A knock came at the door as Sophia opened it and we sprung apart. "Are you comfortable with this room?" She asked me.

"Yeah, this is great." I told her.

"Alright. Cassie and Will are staying on the floor below next to our room. So if you want anything you could come down. And Nick's room is right next to yours, feel free to disturb him too." She said.

"Thanks Sophia." I smiled at her.

"Where's Rory?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, I haven't met her yet." I added.

"I put her to bed after I called Cassie. You both are old enough and you've been a part of this for long. But explaining everything to a six year old kid was not something I was looking forward to." Sophia gave a smile.

"Yeah, she doesn't need to be included in all this." Nick said.

"She was asking for you, though. Something about a promise you made to her for a bedtime story." Sophia smiled.

"I forgot all about it with everything else. I will talk to her tomorrow. Might take a gift or two to coax her into forgiving me." Nick chuckled.

With the way he spoke and his expressions, it wasn't difficult to deduce that Nick loved his half sister. While Nick was Tony and Monica's child. Aurora or Rory is the birth child of Tony and Sophia. But as Sophia treated Nick as her own, he adapted to his new family quickly too. He loved both Sophia and Rory as if they were his own blood.

"Well goodnight. Don't stay up too late." With that Sophia closed the door, leaving me and Nick alone again.

I looked down and let out a groan.

"What's wrong?" Nick asked.

"Nothing." I shook my head.

He raised an eyebrow as if to say, really?

I let out a sigh, "I don't have pajamas and am wearing jeans." I pointed to my pants. "Not the most comfortable thing to sleep in."

"Oh that can be easily remedied." He took hold of my hand once again and pulled me to the next room.

This room was in one word- amazing. It was painted in hues of midnight blue and white. The furniture and decor of the room held the same colors. On a shelf, displayed were various trophies, medals and framed certificates. On the desk was a small plant, a pen holder and a few wires. A few post-its were stuck on the wall over the desk containing notes and reminders. He had a few quotes and posters on the wall too but they were few in number. Ironically, there was a king sized bed in the middle of the room with white sheets and blue duvet. On his bedside table, there was a lamp, a book and a photo frame that Nick put down before I could see the photo it held. His room like mine back home had two more doors apart from the one we came in from. I am going to guess and say that they led to the closet and washroom. On one of the walls there were multiple pictures.

I walked closer to that wall and noticed that it had pictures of everyone. There were pictures of Tony, Monica, Mom, Dad, Sophia, Dan, Nate, Em, Rory and me. A few others contained his extended family and cousins. Most of the pictures were of when we were kids. There were pics of halloween when Dan, Nick, Em and I used to dress up. There were pics of the summer camp Nate and Nick had gone to. And there were family pics of his family, some including Monica whereas others having Sophia and Rory. There were quite a few pictures containing just me and him, capturing moments when we were at peace with each other and not waiting to kill the other person.
