I'm counting the minutes and seconds
Waiting for something
But i don't know what it'll be
Or when it'll happen
All i know if that I have to
Keep
Holding
On
Wait for the magic to happen
Just keep
Holding
On
Every second that passes
I wait for the next one
I can't miss a moment
Because what if I miss
That one integral second
When the waiting pays off
So I keep
Holding
On
Until my arms shake
Until my nails bleed
Until everything inside of my starts screaming
Let go, let go, let go!
Don't be a fool
What's the point?
Why should you
Keep
Holding
On?
When there's nothing and no one
To hold on for
Why do you linger
And wait for each second as it comes
What are you waiting for?
The voice gets a little louder every day
But I
Keep
Holding
On
And I push that voice away
I keep
Holding
On
Even while my mind is begging
I keep
Holding
On
When there seems no end in sight
Keep
Holding
On
Because things have to change someday
And someone or something will happen
That'll make me want to
Keep
Holding
On
