JOY RAN AS FAST as she could stopping to catch her breathe while she placed her hands on her knee,she stood up after few minutes walking slowly and nervously,her mind wandered to what Jonah will probably think seeing her or how she's going to react around him
She suddenly became conscious of her body and slowed her step the more
What if he finds me too fat in this jersey and jogger I'm wearing
She wondered and continue walking nevertheless,she thought she can never find out if she's not there to witness it,Anna saw her immediately and waved at her,she smiled and walk fast towards them
"Hi"she greeted them shyly
"What's up?"Jonah said casually but Joy's heart skipped,she smiled nervously looking at James
"Beautiful thing"she said bending to touch James cheek who glared at her
"I'm handsome not beautiful and stop treating me like a baby"James said and they all laughed
"Still a baby to me though"Joy said and they all laughed apart from James who didn't find it funny,James hit Joy's booty running away
"What!"Joy shrieked
"Catch me if you can!"James said running away and Joy run after him,Anna and Jonah bursted out laughing running after them
They stop after awhile trying to catch their breathe and all ended up laughing,the camera suddenly click and they all look up to find Jonah taking picture of them
"So beautiful,I love the genuine laughter"Jonah said and they went closer to him to look at the picture they nodded in agreement,Jonah took different pictures of them,Joy was really having a nice time forgetting everything that happened in her house momentarily
"Let me take the picture of both of you"James said refering to Joy and Jonah, Joy's heart skipped waiting for a rejection but to her surprise Jonah wrapped his hand around her waist and the camera clicked,her heart was beating erratically she noticed Jonah's heart is beating thesame when he lean on her taking another picture,she look at him to know what's on his mind but heard another click of camera
"This picture is mind blowing!"James exclaimed and they all rush over to see the picture,Joy was looking at Joy in some kind of loving way while Jonah was looking at her like he was lost in her eyes,Joy heart skipped and she was ready to see Jonah deleting the picture
"We look like couples"Jonah said laughing and the rest join except Joy who still seem scared
"I'm going to so save this picture"Anna said winking at Joy who look away shyly
"I want to take beautiful picture like this with Joy"James said and they all bursted out laughing including Joy
Jonah took the phone from James and he went to stand with Joy posing and taking their own pictures,after several pictures and videos they all got tired and decided to go and get ice-cream across the street before going home
They went inside and bought ice-cream of their favourite taste, licking and moaning happily,they left and started going back home when Joy stopped them
"Thank you so much for today,you don't know what it means to me"Joy said honestly
"What are friends for, BFF remember?"Anna said and Joy smiled hugging her and then hug James,she look at Jonah afraid to hug him but Jonah pull her into a hug and she felt so at home like she doesn't want to pull back but she did eventually
"Okay,Good night"she said waving at them
"Good night"they all chorused leaving Joy at her door step
