Bumitaw na ako kay Yosef.
Hindi ko na inintindi kung sumusunod ba siya sa akin o ano.
As I see it clearly now... it's so identical with the one I have.
Kumalabog ng malakas ang dibdib ko.
It's impossible that this is my clock.
I just checked on it earlier, halos araw-araw sinisigurado ko na ligtas siya sa akin.
I look at the description beside it.

"What's with that clock?" Yosef suddenly asked who's now beside me.
I faced him and raised my brow at him.
His innocent face while asking kinda piss me off.
"Are you sure na hindi talaga familliar sa'yo yan?" Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko na magtanong, I didn't even mean to sound suspiscious.
He looks taken aback.
He cleared his throat... uncomfortable.
"U-uhm, hindi... ano ba yan?" He divert his attention to the clock.
I sigh heavily.
"Stay here, may tatawagan lang ako." Hindi ko na hinintay ang sagot niya at lumayo na ako sa kanya.
I got my phone and called the person that I needed to talk to right now.
After five rings...
"Jefa." I said.
"Yes, Mace?"
Luminga-linga muna ako sa paligid, I had to make sure that no one will hear.
Tinignan ko si Yosef at... tulala siya habang naka-tingin sa orasan... orasan ko.
I cleared my throat. "Nasa museum ako ngayon, malapit lang sa library building and... the Golden Clock is in here."
I said as I glance at Yosef who's now looking at me.

Napa-tahimik ng sandali si Jefa.
"Jefa? you're still there?" Tanong ko nang hindi na siya sumasagot.
"Macedon, check the authentication of that clock in there, because I'm sure as fuck, na hawak mo pa rin ang Golden Clock... I'm actually looking at it right now."
Naka-hinga ako nang maluwag nang sinabi niya iyon.
"Babalik na din ako sa Agency mamaya, may business lang ako na kailangan tapusin dito."
Ibaba ko na sana ang phone. "Wait." Jefa said.
"Bakit ka nasa museum, sinong kasama mo?"
Fuck.
"Na... padpad lang ako dito, just... curious you know."
"At sinong kasama mo?"
Bakit niya ba kailangan itanong 'yon?
I don't know, I have a feeling na kapag sinabi ko sa kanya na kasama ko si Yosef, baka masamain nila.
"Wala... ako lang." Damn my mouth!
