The Undercover Wife (On Hold)

Chapter 12

I turned around to see Leo dressed in sweatpants only with his chest and washboard abs out. It was clear that he had just got back from a jog because his chest was glistening in the morning sun and his breathing was shaky. His hair was an unruly mess but it was beautiful.

A lot of things ran through my mind in that moment, I was so shameless I must say. I shouldn't care anyways since he is still my husband.

"Beth are you listening?" He asked looking confused.

I shook my head because I hadn't even realised he had said anything. "What were you saying?" I batted my eyelashes innocently.

"I asked where you are coming from and what's with the plastic bag?"

I rolled my eyes. "Well, my dear husband you made it very clear that you don't want me in your way so don't get in mine." I said before walking away.

My hand was pulled back as I was forced to turn around.  The plastic bag slipped and fell to the floor.

Leo's eyes were pinned on me. "Is this some game to you Beth?"

"Let me go Leo." I demanded through gritted teeth trying to free my hand.

He chuckled humourlessly looking aside but his chuckle was rather short lived as his eyes were stuck to something on the floor. His hand that held my wrist tightened its hold as his face hardened. I followed his vision to see the box I had purchased...a box of condoms.

All of a sudden I was pinned to the wall caged in between Leo's arms with his face in mine. "So that...that is why you left so early in the morning. You are seriously fucking your bodyguard Elizabeth?"

I cocked an eyebrow as I challenged, "So what if I am?"

"Are you serious Beth?" He asked as his fist smashed the wall.

I placed my hand on the base of his neck. "Does it hurt you that your wife could be going into another man's bed right now, in your own house?" Leo didn't respond but I could see his veins showing. "I'm glad to know you still care."

"I didn't know that you would stoop so low."

I placed my forehead against his. "You are one to talk. When you came into my life Leo, you came in as an angel and when I left, you were nothing but a demon."

"What ever I was, you loved me still." He responded sternly.

I pulled my head back resting it against the wall. "You are just like the devil himself, he too was an angel, one that fell from heaven because of greed." I spat.

Leo grabbed me by the back of my neck, forcing me to look at him. "You left me hollow and dark inside Beth. After you ran away, all of my claws came out and now you can't even imagine the amount of darkness that rests in my soul."

"Bullshit."

Leo smashed his lips into mine as he pushed me back into the wall. His lips dominated mine as they moved in an aggressive motion that I found difficult to keep up with. My hands slipped up his arms to his shoulders where I held onto him for life itself.

Leo placed his other hand under my thigh as he wrapped my leg around his waist. I took the hint and wrapped the other one as well, bringing us even closer to each other if possible.

My hair was harshly pulled which caused a moan to escape my lips as Leo took the chance to fully explore my mouth. We were groping and nipping on each other like hungry animals.

I pushed Leo back in order to catch my breath but his lips moved on to my neck. "Leonardo." I moaned, knowing the effect it would have on him.

He groaned in response as I pulled his face away from my neck. "What is it now?"

I cocked my head to the side. "Your bitch is waiting for you."

Leo's eyes followed mine to see Cathy standing there with her face so red it looked like she would just burst. I placed my lips next to his ear as I whispered. "You were already dead inside before I left anyway."

I got off him and walked past Cathy, leaving behind a snotty comment. "Be careful or else you'll convince me that I'm the other woman instead of you."

I picked up my stuff and entered my room. As I closed the door, my face was slammed into it as I felt someone's breath on my neck. "I don't trust you and I never have. Give me one good reason for the heck of a show you gave outside there?" Daniel demanded.

"Only if you give me a good reason as to why you slept with me."
