//SHUICHI POV//

Even though Kokichi had just woken up, I assumed that he was still tired, because as soon as he was cuddled between my arms, he fell asleep.

I sighed, deciding that I should just stay.

It wasn't late yet, but I did actually feel pretty tired.

I pulled the blanket over us, and then shuffled in bed till I felt comfortable.

Kokichi's purple hair tickled my neck.

It looked so soft.

I lightly placed my hand on his head, and began stroking his hair.

It didn't only look soft, it felt soft too.

I wonder what his secret is.

Soon enough, I fell asleep to the sound of Kokichi's soft breathing, and his hair between my fingers.

...

"Morning, sleepyhead," a cheerful voice exclaimed.

A bright light shone on my eyes.

Squinting, I slowly opened them to see Kokichi sitting on my chest, pinning me down with his arms.

"You're finally up, Shuichi," he cheered.

"Huh?"

"I've been trying to get you to wake up for the past fifteen minutes! Do you know how deep of a sleeper you are," he groaned, rolling off of me and landing on the floor with a thump.

"N-no, that never occurred to me."

"I don't have class today," he said, pouting.

I sat up, and checked my schedule.

Surely enough, I didn't either.

"Hey, neither do I. How about we go to the beach or something," I said, feeling energised at the thought of a date- day with Kokichi.

He perked up and grinned, "Yes!"

I chuckled and got out of bed, grabbing an outfit and getting changed.

Kokichi was already dressed, and once I came out he already had his shoes on and was ready to go.

"I think it's gonna be cold, so you should wear a jacket," I said, grabbing his off of the coat rack and throwing it to him.

"It won't be that bad! Besides, this coat is really warm. Like, way too warm," he said, drawing out the y.

I sighed, and threw it in my backpack, "Fine, but if it gets cold, you have to wear it."

He grumbled and stood up, walking to the kitchen.

"Have you had breakfast yet?"

Kokichi shook his head, reaching for a panta from the fridge, but I walked over and slapped his hand away.

"No, no panta before breakfast, especially not to take your pills with," I said, pulling on my jacket and shoes.

I tugged on my backpack and grabbed his hand, making sure to not forget his pills, and dragged him out the door.

"Where should we go for breakfast," I asked, forgetting about Kokichi's hand intertwined with mine.

"Mc Donalds," he cheered, but I shook my head.

"That's not the... best breakfast place."

He sighed, "How about the diner down near the mall?"

I have no idea what he means, but I nodded and let him lead the way.
