Meeting 'T' (Chapter 18)

=~•Patton's POV•~=
I woke up in high spirits. We got to team up with the others. They're now our friends. I can have more adopted kiddos! I ran down the stairs with my baggy pyjamas, that reached the floor. I had on blue sweat pants with white stars on and a plain white tee-shirt. The kitchen was empty like usual and my face dropped. My mum and dad both go on business trips all the time and never see me. I felt tears prick at my eyes and blurred up my vision more. 'Oh I left my glasses upstairs' I giggled too myself.

When I came back downstairs my toast popped up and I ran over to butter them. Who doesn't like buttered toast? I sat down with my toast and decided to watch Spongebob on the tv. My favourite episode began to play and I knew today would be a good day. The campfire song song began to play and I bounced up and down to the tune. I soon finished my toast and I raked my hand through my knotty hair. I could be a bird nest with all the cute little chicks. Just that thought made me smile wider as I left to go change in my normal clothing. All my everyday clothing was the same, apart from the odd flannel shirts I got in sophomore year. They still fitted so I decided to have a small change up today. I decided to put on a grey shirt underneath a sky-blue flannel. I wore a pair of black trousers and blue converse to complete the look. I really like trying different outfits but nothing beats my everyday outfit. I love feeling like a cartoon character when I have multiple of the same outfit.

My hair was brushed and left to curl back up because it never stays down. I love my hair but it can get quite annoying at times but that's okay. My phone binged and I saw a text from Ro-Ro, telling me about how we get to talk to the new kiddos today. I could barely contain my excitement and ran through my front door and to his house. When I got there, I was beginning to regret running but I knocked on the door and smiled widely. The door opened to show a distressed Roman with a Remus smiling behind him. Roman's face lit up and kissed me on the cheek before allowing me inside. The hall was still messy from yesterday and still smelled of alcohol. I'm just happy my new kiddos didn't drink any. I was embraced in a hug when the doorbell rung. Oh yeah this house has a doorbell! The door was swung open by Remus to show Logan there. He quickly turned red and excused himself too his room. Logan was stood there confused while Roman was laughing at his oblivious state.

We were soon dragged out of this, when Logan's phone buzzed. It was Remus saying about how he invited the two over. I know for a fact Virgil likes my dad jokes so I'm looking forward too that. Ro didn't look to thrilled but he saw my buzzing excitement and just smiled softly. Logan stepped inside and shut the door without locking it. We all sat down and watched Sleeping Beauty for about 25 minutes until the bell rang through the house. Logan got up and answered since Roman didn't want them here and I was being trapped by his arms around me. A few minutes past and Lo walked back in with the two supers. Logan loomed over them, being 6'3 and all, with his back straight. Virgil looked shorter than Janus but that was due to him folding on himself. Janus was about '2 shorter than him when V stood up right.

I invited the three to sit down and Logan plus Janus sat down on the sofa while V sat on the coffee table. It was odd since the chair had enough room but he didn't seem to care, even when Logan repeatedly told him to get up. I could tell Roman was holding in a laugh at Logan's attempts but he most likely didn't wanna laugh with the 'villain'. Awkward silence fell on the five of us, until Remus barged through the door.

"Snakey and emo! T wants to see us!' He yelled across the room.
"You have got to be kidding!" V yelled back while Janus rolled his eyes at these two. Logan was just looking at Remus and got extremely flustered at something.
"Fine we will go. Is that alright with you Janus?"
"I guess, do I even really have a choice?"
"Nope!" Remus interrupted, popping the 'p'. I really wanted to talk with them more. A frown spread across my face until I got an amazing idea. This would also prove if they were evil.
"Why don't we come along to see who Mr. T is," I exclaimed. The three looked between each other and seemed to have a silent conversation with their eyes. Janus was the one too talk.
"I guess but don't call him Mr, he says it makes him feel old." I thought all bosses would make you call them Mr or Miss or Mrs or Mx. Logan seemed to like the idea and Roman also seemed to enjoy it. We walked to the door and Remus led, with Janus and V walking next to each other, behind him. Me, Ro and Lo followed behind them. If they were evil, they wouldn't show us their base.

About 30 minutes of walking passed and we soon approached an apartment complex. It was similar to J's but much taller. We were led up multiple stairs and to a room on the 4th floor. The room with a rainbow 43 was the one Remus knocked loudly on. It took about three seconds to open, too reveal a man in a brown cardigan. He looked at me, Ro and Lo before shutting the door quickly. Was that 'T'? A few seconds passed before the door opened once more, this time revealing someone I did not expect. In the door way stood my history teacher, Thomas. Wait Thomas. T! Mr Sanders is T?! I looked at my boyfriend, who was having a similar reaction. I turned to Logan, who just raised an eyebrow at this discovery.

"Umm guys, why are the 3 who tried to kill you here?" He asked the other supers. To be honest, we were the ones who did attack them in the street and- wait we aren't good. J is evil. We are evil. I'm... evil. Virgil asked him if we could all go in so it could be explained inside. Mr Sanders agreed and we were all brought inside. The room had a pride flag on the back wall, behind the tv. A couch was facing the television, which was playing Steven Universe at the moment. Thomas walked over to the sofa and sat down.
"So... What'd I miss?" He quoted from Hamilton and I could tell Roman felt much more comfortable working with these guys now. The situation was explained by Janus and Logan (the only ones with brain cells among us). Thomas was shocked at what happened and the other man also seemed worried.

"What's the point of taking a kid?" The kiddo in the cardigan asked.
"From what I assume, sir, they are being used as bait for someone," Logan assumed and we all seemed to agree.
"Do you guys think it's safe to go after them with out a plan though?" Virgil asked. He looked on the 'verge' (wink wink) of a panic attack and who could blame him. Logan wasn't sure by the look on his face but he still answered, logically.
"If we are to get her back, we are inquired to make a plan. We also need to discover her location. Thomas do you believe you can find any information about kidnappers in this area?" He asked politely, to which Thomas nodded.
"I will find information when you have left and me and Emile will find help," he told us all and I smiled. We can track them down but I have a gut feeling I know who is responsible. I'll bring it up with Roman and Logan at school tomorrow.

It was really nice there and it was like we had all been friends forever. It was soon becoming dark and we all parted ways so we could go home. I know the city amazingly and I found my way home. Today was nice. Now I know that the others aren't evil, this is great. I ran upstairs and got changed into my 'Paw-sitively Tired' pjs. They are my absolute favourite. I took my glasses off and soon fell into a deep sleep.

Yep this one is coming out late, again! I need to get better at writing these on time. I feel like adding a huge plot twist that's gonna throw ya, but that will probably be ages away. Next week, I'm going back to school So updates may be slower. Until next time, adios!
