T.W: Swearing (just assume every chapter has swearing in) and death
=~•Janus' POV•~=
After the events that took place at lunchtime, the rest of the day went relatively normal, well until last period. I was sitting in advanced English when the helpful, emo boy walked in. In hindsight he looked normal but he looked different. Maybe it was the tear stains. No that's not it because he still looks like a raccoon. His clothing? Nope nope, still dark as night. I just let it be until my brain could be bothered to pickup on what was different. Logan turned to me with a look of utter shock on his face. This surprised me as from what I've seen, he never shows any emotions on his face.
"Hey what's gotten you in a jumble logic?" I said getting his attention. He looked at me in complete disgust, probably from how I phrased my sentence.
"Well if you must know, it seems Virgil has dyed his hair," he informed me which confused me. I know he's mysterious and all but where in the living fuck did he get dye from. I turned to face him and saw that his hair was now a dark shade of purple. Well that's odd. Out of all the colours why dark purple. It didn't look bad but why do it in school? Oh well not my problem, like I said he is an emo so it doesn't surprise me. He sat down quietly and opened his book for the lesson.

Time skip to the end of English because I can

The bell rang signalling the end of the day and for students to run out the school doors like water from a broken dam. I slowly walked out of the halls to avoid myself from being trampled like Mufasa. Some how I managed to make it out safely and onto the unforgiving streets. Crime was apparently very common on this side of the city and I was an hour away from my house by car. This isn't going to end well, is it.

Cars sped past, deafening many bystanders who had the absolute 'luxury' of walking. My feet were sore and I hated the unnerving feeling of being watched with every step. The wind was blowing my jacket up and behind me so I looked like a complete Disney villain, ready to burst out into a song. At that moment, with the wind blowing behind me, I felt a sense of piece in this dangerous city. That was until my hat blew away. Great! Just great. I ran after the runaway hat and looked absolutely fabulous while doing it. The hat swerved in and out of lampposts until it ducked into an alleyway. Am I gonna go into a drug dealing alley way for a hat? YEP!

I quickly followed my hat into the alleyway where I saw my hat laying in the only spot of light. This seems to be mightily suspicious but oh well. I picked it up right before I heard a sinister chuckle. Well this can't end well. Cautiously, I turned my head to face two umber eyes staring at me. I could feel my self start to hyperventilating when I saw a light emerge from the underneath my hat. What is it today with the plot twists. The piece of light coiled around my neck and chest, frightening the pair of eyes looking at me. My breathing returned to normal whilst the yellow light tightened its grip on my chest. The last I saw of the beam of light was it sinking into my body with a small buzz. Once the light was gone, I felt a warmth spread across the right side of my face before it grew extremely cold. I didn't think much of it as I walked out the alleyway onto the now silent street.

After hours of walking, I found my way to my house (not home, house) and opened the grand doors. You see I live in a very large house as my father is very wealthy, as seen by our clothes. I ran up the stairs silently before charging into my bathroom. My face still felt like ice had been taped on my head which was very odd. My eyes scanned the room, before falling on my mirror above the sink. I looked at myself intently before I realised something different with my yellow eye. My pupil was elliptical, like one of a pit viper or like a cat's. The orb was now a vibrant yellow, the same colour as the sun in the sky.
"I must be delusional," I stated as I shook my head vigorously. I must have hit my head on the floor of that alleyway.

In my room, I sat until I heard a loud knock echo through my walls. It must have been my father alerting me dinner was prepared meaning... I have to see him. Perfect. Absolutely wonderful! I opened the door to be met with a very shocking discovery. My father wasn't anywhere in sight which was very confusing. Usually he would talk about how much of a  pervert he is. He doesn't call himself a pervert but from what he says about the women in the pub he goes to, makes it very clear. I walk peacefully into the dining room to... silence? Now I'm freaked out. Quickly, I checked the living room, bathrooms, halls and also his bedroom. The last place to check was the kitchen. I hated the kitchen. So many things have gone wrong in that exact kitchen. Too many memories I would rather forget. Quietly, I made it into the kitchen  to see a beautiful sight.

Death scene beginning
My father laid on the floor, surrounded by what I assume was his own blood. The same blood that circulated his dreadful body, keeping him alive. His head was cocked to the side with the thick, red liquid pouring out. The counter closes to his body was covered with the same clotted substance that came from his head. He must have collapsed and hit his head on the counter's corner. The room smelled of that distinctive irony smell that blood emits.

My immediate thought was to call the police but then I remembered I live alone now. I didn't need to be taken to an orphanage, I'm 17. My next thought was to hide the body but what if the police find him and see my finger prints from me hiding him. The thought I paid the most attention to was to set a light his body and clean the kitchen. I decided to go through with this and it was very successful and now most people would think I would want to kill people like in many stories. No, I want to stop people from being happy about seeing their parental figure dead because the child was hated.
End of Death scene

As I sat down, one thing came to my mind. My eye. I had forgotten all about it when i saw my father's dead body on the kitchen tiles. Quickly, I pulled out my phone and flipped the camera to see my face.
"Fuck..." was all I could spit out. The entire right side of my face that was once a white shade, had multiple scale looking things there instead. I brushed my hand over them to discover they were... smooth? Heh snakes aren't slimy, I owe my therapist $10. Now this is going to be a problem for school, isn't it? I turned my phone off and let out a loud groan. Why me? The universe just love me! My eyes drooped close when I realised how tired I was from today. The last thing I managed to say before sleep took me in with open arms was, "I'm in some deep Ssssshit~."
