T.W: swearing

It had been about 2 weeks since the kidnapping of Christine and the group of 6 had gotten no where. Their hopes were falling and zero evidence was in their possession, apart from the note. That was until November 12th. It was a cold, autumn day, the leaves were covering the path and each step someone took was accompanied with a satisfying crunch. The wind blew fiercely into civilians skin, making their nose and ears a fiery pink. The air smelt of fresh rain that had fallen the night before. Sporadic puddles were scattered across the road and pavement, some on the way too freeze up. This was the day the 6 teens got their beginning piece of the puzzle.School had dragged on and on, while the time ticked by and snail speed. Maths was the last lesson that day for all of them. It was the only lesson that all of the group have together. Logan was helping the twins on a question the teacher probably didn't even know how to work out. Patton was still trying to workout the question on the board, all the way across the room from the others. Janus was secretly scrolling through his phone instead of paying attention to the lesson. He knew he wouldn't be able to do it so why spend time trying. Virgil was staring at the clock at the front of the room, as it ticked slowly around its face.
'5 minutes left,' he thought, before groaning and falling back into the rough chair. School for them all have become slower after the incident at Halloween and it felt like they would never get to the end of the year. He blocked the room out while he was back to thinking of where to start with the search. His thoughts were clouded with worry and he could barely think. He's been doing this for over a week and had gotten no where. The other 5 were doing the same but their attempts, like his, were futile. Everyone was yanked out of what they were doing when a knock was sounded on the classroom door.Every student in the class swung their heads around, expecting to just see a teacher that was coming to snitch on someone. This wasn't the case. Although, the person to knock was a teacher, it was a teacher no one really sees out of his class. There in the door frame was Mr. Sanders with a list in his hand. Well that's what everyone assumed it was.
"Greetings Me. Sanders, what can I do for you?" The math teacher asked in a sickly sweet tone. The type of tone that you know just means 'fuck off please'.
"Ah yes, may I steal a few children Miss... Flinging?" He asked, while trying to remember the teacher's name.
"Mrs Fleming, and yes you can borrow a few children. I assume they won't be back in time for the end of the lesson," she said, in less of a question and more of a statement. You could easily tell she was pissed of at Thomas but she still had the smile that adults put on for those they hate. He nodded, energetically and began asking for the 6 super kids. It wasn't surprising to them and they had already began packing up their shit too leave. They left the classroom, following the surprisingly happy teacher. Maybe he had come up with an idea to save the younger super. They were led to his class and stood around his mahogany desk. He quickly placed down the paper on the wood and it had multiple crossed out ideas and one underlined sentence. That one sentence was written in a red pen and underlined in green."Seek help from underground heroes," Janus and Virgil read in sync. The group exchanged looks before realising who they were talking about. The parents of the two blue supers.
"The heroes went underground! What are they gonna do for us," Roman basically yelled, "and we don't even know where they are."
"I have to agree with posh ass here, our father, Valiente, was a terrible person and is now dead," Remus spoke up, with his grin still plastered on his face at the bloody scene that was in the kitchen that day. Thomas seemed to think for a second before beginning to explain his idea.
"The heroes know how to deal with villains and kidnappings. If we can get Savvy and Enamour on our team, we will easily be able to beat the enemy. They know every lair in the city and can easily find them." He made many valid points in his short explanation and all of the teens had no other plan. It was about 2 minutes until the end of the school day when the supers agreed to this idea. If this worked then the problem will be over and the issue at hand will be deleted."We are able to begin searching for them today and since Friday tomorrow is a Teacher training day I'm not forced to work on, we can also continue to look for them then as well," he told them right before the last bell went. They all left the school after another 3 minutes. The teens who still had their parents there, alerted them to their situation before heading to the apartment complex. Patton and Roman were walking hand in hand, laughing about some cheesy joke most likely. Logan was blabbering about some homework while Remus was trying too write it all down and ask questions without stuttering. The last two were making fun of each other, Virgil jokes about Janus height while being made fun of because of his style. Thomas was leading the group at the front, while texting Emile about the idea.
Mr. Sanders' room came into view from the end of the hallway. The floor was carpeted in a red material that contrasted well with the pure-white walls. The door was opened by the therapist and they all entered after stopping their conversations. This situation needed all their attentions.

Another chapter done. This book will have about 17 more chapters (including epilogue) so that's fun. Do they have teacher training days in America or is that just a British thing? I'm also sure that American readers know autumn is fall but just in case. And this book has over 550 views! That's a lot. Until next time, adios!
