T.W: swearing
=~•No POV•~=
"CHRISTINE!" The 5 wounded heroes cried in unison. She gave a small wave before looking back at Logan, raising her eyebrow. He looked down at her before smirking and walking over too the others.
"What the fuck happened?!" Roman asked in a hurry. For once, Patton didn't death glare him for swearing. They stared at each other, having a conversation with their eyes until someone broke the silence.
"Okay, maybe we should get you guys too the hospital," Ophidian walked over, with a slight limp and Eccentric on his back. That was the moment the heroes, apart from Logan, were in immense pain from their wounds."Obviously we get fucking hurt, I don't know what else I was expecting!" Virgil whined, getting a laugh from the others, as he sat on the floor, not even attempting to get up. Janus looked over, arm twisted to the side in a not healthy way, before reaching his healthy arm out for him. The railway station was still. Still until a large train passed through, whipping up leaves and rubbish on the way through. The speed of the train stopped it from being affected by the missing tracks.
"Wait, if this train is working doesn't that mean we could have just caused an accident?" Patton looked over at Logan, who just waved the question off with a thoughtful expression. Remus glanced over towards the nerd with a knowing look on his face. He smiled and shook his head. Janus and V looked at each other, silently informing one another about the sexual tension. The two smiled and looked away.
"So are you guys like, all gay?" Eccentric asked, head resting on Ophidian's shoulder. The young heroes looked at each other quickly with confused but agreeing expressions.
"The way you guys eye fuck each other is annoying!"Ophidian slowly pulled out a needle filled with something and injected it into the woman on his back. She quickly fell asleep, and Ophidian sighed a sigh of relief.
"Thank the heavens I carry that around, I can't deal with some of her talking.""Can we have some for Remus?" Roman and Janus asked in unison, receiving a slap to the back of their heads by Patton and Logan. V and Christine were just trying too not laugh at their shenanigans.
"Well then, let's go to the stupid hospital," V announced, getting a glare from Logan.
"Virgil, hospitals are not stupid, they keep your physical well-being in check and-" he began before getting injected by the sleeping chemical, by Ophidian. This got a glare from Remus, to which the older just replied with, "he was gonna lecture us all, and I'd rather not."The walk carried on with high spirits, apart from the constant complaining from Christine about how long the walk was. Logan was being carried by Remus, who still had the rat on his head. Virgil and Janus were having an argument about the way too eat Oreos, with Ophidian and Christine adding other ways, getting disgusted looks from both the young boys. Some of the other two's suggestions were as followed:
• dipping it in sauce
• eating with a Dorito
• breaking the biscuit vertically
• removing the cream insideEach time they added an idea, it got shut down quicker than anything, with Jan and V scowling at them. Some of their weirder ideas, like the Dorito one, even caught the attention of Remus, Roman and Patton. Even Remus turned his nose up at that one and said to put deodorant inside of the cookies instead of cream. The rest of the team frowned at that. It was getting around night time when the exhaustion of the day hit. Luckily, they were not far off from the motel. The late-November wind was biting at their faces and the snow from before had now become slush.
The motel came into view and Christine audibly sighed, happily. Virgil did the same but without being audible. The sky was pitch-black, with only a few stars being visible. They made it too the doors and Ophidian struggled too get the keys from his pocket. When the door was opened, everyone stumbled in, faces red from the cold and legs numb from the walking. Without a second thought they stumbled up the stairs, Logan was now awake and was also walking up the steep steps. Obviously too Logan they seemed like normal steps, but to the others they seemed giant. Half of the teens went into one room, well 4 out of 7, and the others went in the other.
Virgil, Janus, Remus and Logan were in one room and Roman, Patton and Christine were in the other.Janus was in the bed situated in the far corner of the room and V was in the bed parallel to his. The two of them had just sat down in their beds and looked over at the other two on the opposite side. They were doing the same when Remus pecked Lo's cheek. The room was silent for a sec. That was until V sucked in some air before speaking/ squeaking.
"When the FUCK did this happen?" He asked, completely stunned and barely spluttering out his words.
"Where do you think I was when I missed out on your guys' first encounter with the heroes and why do you think the fire only started after you guys left the cafe," Remus said, knowing that this will shock the two.
"So when did it like become a full thing?" Janus asked, blinking rapidly.
"A day, possibly, after our meeting with Mr Sanders," Logan informed with a disgusted look at the mention of Thomas. The conversation ended there as Virgil just sunk down in his bed. The rest did the same and the night was an easy one to sleep through. The heating was silently on, warming the inhabitants of the room. Rain was peacefully dripping down with a rhythm that was never disturbed. No cars were on the road and the main thing that allowed everyone too sleep easy was knowing that Christine was safe.
