“Leonardo!” Lola yelled as the rain drowned her words, the sound of footsteps were clear enough though
He had walked away.
Looking back now, Leonardo wished he had stopped, he wished he hadn't let his anger control him that night, he wished he had listened, and as scary as the zone of what if's seemed, he still wished he had known.
Leonardo, glanced at the laptop over and over again as if trying to find something — anything that convinced him that his Father wasn't a murder. But the facts were clearer that day,
His father, Arthur Cassa, had murdered Aiden, the pieces of the puzzle began to come together now, Why the riots began, and his father's sudden desire to run for presidency,whre the power and wealth they had came from — Lola had found out.
She had found out their father was a murderer who killed her boyfriend to gain power from the Rival's enterprise, this explained Lola's indifference towards this family, it all made sense how could he be so stupid!
What 15 year old leaves without a trace? And reappears two years later fully equipped and successful, this was all too much for Leonardo, he had the sudden urge to hide under the comfort of his sheets, and pretend his perfect life was indeed perfect
“Leo?” Ariana spoke up
“huh?” he asked confused.
“you spaced out a bit back there”
Leonardo frowned as everything click
“I... I know where Lola is..”

“so according to you; she's at the park?” James asked simply astonished “isn't that stupid?” he asked as if it was the most obvious thing.
Leonardo stood up, and paced about a bit before stopping and looking at the wall as if the answers to all his problems were inscribed on it.
“Lola wasn't kidnapped-” he began,
“duh! I said-” Ariana was about to chip in when he cut her off
“She escaped.”

“it's all making sense now, the reason why she disappeared for two years it wasn't just Christine's death, Lola escaped from Arthur, she was scared he would kill her, because he had found out that she knew about Aiden, he wanted to keep her shut.
Lola had escaped initially because of Christine's death, but the reason she stayed away for so long was because she was carefully plotting her revenge,but then I had called her unexpectedly, causing her to rush over there, Dad found out and tempered with the brakes, but what he didn't count on, was that-” before leonardo could finish James cut him through
“that you'd be in the car”
“That makes so much sense it's terrifying” Olivia chipped in
“During those two years Lola had gotten in contact with Aiden's family, after barely surviving the accident she paid a visit to my dad, she was the one who.. Who opened the door” Tears stinged his eyes, she had been so close..
“my mother had seen her on the way out, and Alicia was suspicious, she didn't attend the funeral, but she sent a message”
“what message?” Olivia asked curiously
“'you can't wash away your tears with guilt,lulu', she used Taht name knowing fully well only I could decipher the message”
“so.. what was it?” James asked getting impatient
“the fifth and sixth word, removing the first letters clearly said
