When they arrived at the warehouse, Raguel fell unconscious because of his wounds. Elena was very scared because she did not know what to do.

She was very restless until Raphael showed up and told her everything would be fine. That was when she felt relaxed.

Elena was staring into space. She was still questioning the information she received from the demon, that she was bonded to an Angel. She still could not wrap her head around it.

"He is starting to wake up," Raphael stated, pulling Elena out of her thoughts.

She rapidly turned to look at Raguel who was most certainly regaining consciousness.

Immediately, Raguel's eyes opened and they rested on Elena. He smiled brightly at her. Elena had the urge to jump on him and hug him tightly, however, she restrained herself and gave him a huge smile instead.

Raphael stared at each of them with a warm smile on his face. He was very happy for Raguel. it had been a long time since he saw Raguel smile like that.

"Indeed, having a soulmate is everything," Raphael whispered.

With Raguel's strength returning to his body, he stood up. Then he noticed Raphael standing at the nook of the room.

"Ralph!" He cried out moving closer to him and pulled him into a big hug. "I'm very happy you are here," he said.

His hug was tight which caused a little ache in Raphael's body, however, he did not mind, so he did not struggle to pull out of the hug. He was simply happy Raguel was fine.

Elena was contemplating if it was the right time to ask Raguel about their bond. She was thinking why Raguel did not tell her about the bond, but she spoke anyway, "I thought it was crazy to have strong feelings for someone I barely know for days," Elena said, causing Raguel to pull out of his hug. He turned to meet her eyes.

"I thought it was stupid to feel deeply connected with someone I barely knew. I thought it was a crush on my hero, considering you saved my life, however, I know deep down that it was more than that," Elena paused and took a deep breath. "Why did you not tell me about the bond we share, that we are soulmates?" she asked.

Raguel was in shock, not because Elena knew about the bond, but she could also feel it.

"You can feel the bond?" Raguel asked in disbelief as he glanced at Raphael who looked shocked too. "I know I have not made any skin to skin contact with you. So, how come you could feel the bond?" Raguel muttered more to himself however, Elena heard him.

"What do you mean by skin to skin contact?" she asked.

"We have to make skin to skin contact with each other for you to be able to feel the bond but you are already feeling the bond without making the contact. It's surely strange," Raguel explained. "If you were to be another Angel, you will feel the bond the second we met, however, you are not, so I don't understand this," Raguel continued in confusion.

"Does this mean that there is something wrong with me?" Elena asked, feeling scared of the unknown.

"There is nothing wrong with you," Raphael shortly intervened. He had been quiet ever since the conversation started. "Elena, you are very special, Raphael continued. “We don't know precisely what you are now, but we are certain you are not entirely human," Raphael said, giving her a smile which meant everything would be okay.

"Are you ready to form your bond now?" Raphael asked with a huge grin on his face. He was so excited he would get to see Raguel connect with his soulmate.

"Are you ready?" Raguel asked Elena.

He was very excited. He knew a bond with a soulmate was very special because he was taught about that when he was in Heaven. He was very happy that he would get to experience it himself.

"Does connecting the bond hurt?" Elena asked.

She was very excited to connect with the Angel on a deeper level.

"No, it does not hurt, however, it will only feel strange for a few seconds," Raguel explained with a smile on his face.

"Okay then, I'm ready," Elena said.

Raguel held out his hand and Elena smiled and moved closer to him, and she placed her hand on his.

They both gasped at the sensation they both felt, the tingling current in their palms, sparks were flowing inside them. They could not explain how a simple contact could ignite such sturdy feelings inside them.

Elena wasted no time as she flung her hands around the Angel and embraced him tightly. She buried her head on his neck and inhaled his scent. He smelled heavenly; she just wished she could bottle up his scent.

They both continued to cling on to each other as they enjoyed the comfort of each other's warmth.
