Raguel arrived at the warehouse. He stood close to the window, staring at nothing in particular. He knew Raphael would take a while to get there.

He thought about the kiss he shared with his soulmate. That alone brought a smile to his face. He simply couldn’t wait to get back to his soulmate.

Raphael landed at the warehouse capturing Raguel's attention after sensing the presence of his friend.

"Hey," Raphael said and moved closer to Raguel

"Hey," Raguel spoke back with a smile

He was happy Raphael always came to his aid. He wished Raphael’s soulmate hadn’t died. At least Raphael would have every incentive to smile. Raguel remembered the time when he was still in Heaven, and the way Raphael's eyes usually lit up with joy when he was around his soulmate, however, right now, he simply appeared to be existing and not truly living.

Raguel closed the distance between them and hugged his friend and the man who raised him in Heaven, tightly.

Raphael was surprised by the hug. He knew they hugged occasionally, but this specific one felt different.

"Are you alright?" Raphael asked.

Raguel sighed softly. "I was just thinking about your soulmate," he said, not wanting to lie because he knew Raphael would see through his lies and he would always point it out to him that he was not being truthful. "You know, when she used to be around, you were usually happy," Raguel added.

Raphael pushed back a little so he could see Raguel's face.

"I am happy knowing that you are here. I miss my soulmate every day. You would have been everything me and my soulmate would have wished for in a child," Raphael said softly.

"And I will always be here for you, Ralph. You are my father," Raguel stated firmly as he looked directly at Raphael.

That declaration brought a mild smile to Raphael's face and he pulled Raguel back into his arms.

"I love you, Ralph," Raguel said with a smile on his face.

"I love you too, son," Raphael replied and a tear slipped from his eyes touching Raguel.

Raguel pulled back a little and wiped the tears out of Raphael's eyes with a smile.

A few minutes later, when they were both calm, Raphael finally spoke up.

"You said you desired to see me.”.

"Yes, were you able to get anything from Samael?" Raguel asked.

"Yes, I was able to get something from him," Raphael replied. "He was aware of those two Angels and he said the demons think Elena is a threat to them," Raphael added.

"What do you mean by a threat?" Raguel asked with a frown on his face.

"Since we all know Elena is not entirely human, and she is additionally bonded with an Angel, so I suppose that made her a threat. They assume she is very powerful," Raphael replied.

Raguel looks burdened by Raphael's statements.

"As a human that Elena is, she is very special. She has some power inside of her that is hidden deeply. Being bonded with an Angel like yourself makes the bond you share extra special too," Raphael said, attempting to clear the confusion that is written all over Raguel's face.

"So right now, we have to find out what Elena truly is?” Raguel asked.

"Yes," Raphael said simply.

"Will you ask Samael for help? He seems to know a lot of things that are going on," Raguel asked.

"I already did, however, he declined," Raphael said as he remembered the concerned look that was on his friend’s face when they spoke.
