Chapter fifteen

Antonio's POV

I shifted uncomfortably on the small chair I have been sitting on for the past hour staring at her as she lay on the hospital bed, after her fainting on my arms my heart raced so fast I can't explain why I feel this way whenever am around her. Her eyes stirred as she woke up

" Easy! I stood up and stood beside her

" What happened!? Her soft voice cracked as she sat upright holding her head

" You fainted! How you feeling?

" for how long? She glanced at me

" An hour or so" are you okay, I asked her as my finger grazed her soft skin tucking her hair aside

" Yea" she gasped as her swollen eyes looked up at me

" You look tired! C'mon let's get you home" I told her as I helped her drop from the bed

" I see your awake Miss Johnson" the doctor came in

" Yes, am okay though" she smiled at him

" Yes your blood pressure went alittle bit low you just need some rest"

" Sure doctor, I'll be back tomorrow to see my mom" she insisted

" Very well, have a goodnight " he smiled at both of us before he left

I glanced at her direction time to time, she hasn't say a word since we drove off from the hospital my fingers drumming on my lap trying to figure out how to talk to her

" Thank you for coming to the hospital" her soft voice jolted me from my thoughts as immediately turned to face her

" No need to thank me yet"

" What do  you mean?

" Don't worry about it, I sighed and looked outside

" Your a good man Antonio Rouhas"!

My eyes widen at her instant comment I turned to look at her confused about what she just said " you don't know that'!

" I might not but so far you have been nothing but good to me"

" It's nothing! I insisted

" That's what you think but it's not !

" And how sure are you that am a good person" my eyes stared blankly at her

" Because beneath that intimidating strong man you present there's a soft, kind person inside but you don't let him out often, why?

I chuckled at her statement and looked away from her eyes, the eyes that just saw right through me. I remained not answering her question as the car stopped at our destination

" Thanks for the ride" she said right after we got out from the car

" I should take you up"!

" No, am fine I can manage from here"

Okey then I'll see you tomorrow"

" Sure, I'll come by after I pass by the hospital"

" Sure , goodnight

" Goodnight Antonio! I watched her walk way and disappear inside the building I sighed and got back to the car

I dialed Valerio's number and waited for him to pick up after sometime he didn't I dialed Marco's number as he immediately picked up

" What's up Antonio"! His husky voice boomed in he was breathing heavily

" Am I intrupting something? Curiously asked him right after I heard a faint voice of a woman's giggle

" Nop! He chuckled

" Mmh right! Well after your done I want you to tell our best men to find a man called Roy Tucker I want him alive tell them to ask our friend in the police station to help them out"

" Sure, but who is he?

" I'll tell you when we meet tomorrow just send the best trackers"

" Alright!

" And if you see Valerio tell him to pick up his damn phone next time" I hanged up and layed my head back and closed my eyes as her perfect smile appeared on my mind.
