Antonio's POV

I launched a beer bottle and watched it shattered on the wall losening my tie leaning on my desk I breathed heavily as the door came flying open

"Is everything alright Capo? Tyler's voice echoed in the room

" Yes I'd like to be left alone Tyler! I ordered as I poured a cold drink

" Yes, sure"

My mind kept thinking of Maryjane, I kept pacing back and forth the room replaying the state I found her with that Ex of his. I stroke my hair and sighed as the door flew open

" I said I want to be left alone! I roared

" We have a problem Antonio! Marco retorted

" What is it? I turned to find a worked look on his face

" It's the the NYPD they came snooping around today during our delivery detour"

" There hungry pay them off!

" No, I it's different kind of cols, there detective two apparently there's been a murderer around the area ! He sighed

" Did any of the men get in trouble?

" Not that I know of, but this is bad for business if they are around how are we gonna move our goods?

" I think it's time we use the strategy you told me about , remember?

" Yes liquidising the coke, it's good but we need a team of professional chemists for the job" he retorted

" Get everything ready put a good price on them and make sure their good"

" On it but what are we going to say the liquid is?

" Brandy" I'll call someone to make a perfect logo for it!

" Okey, I'll get it done"

" Any news on Roy Tucker?

" There still tracking him down , don't worry it won't be long now"

" Fine get-

" Capo there's someone here for you! Tyler interrupted

" Who is it?

" Sono i polizioti" he swallowed ( it's the cops)

" What! What the hell do they want? Marco retorted

I slowly placed my drink on the table adjusting my coaler then walked out my office heading downstairs

" Antonio let me talk to them" Marco stood blocking my way

" Relax Marco remember in I am legit business man as long as they don't have any evidence they can't have me" I walked past him

I strolled slowly down the stairs as I my eyes glanced at two men who were still at the counter bar facing the entrance. I turned to find Marco standing beside me as I stood with my hands dug on the pocket

" Gentlemen , how can I help you! My voice across the bar as the both turned to find me standing my eyes glanced at the both men who walked up to me as i realized I have met one of them. I noticed at how his eyes widen at the sight of me.

" Mr Rouhas , my name is Detective John and this is my partner Detective Jack" he introduced himself

" Nice to meet you both Detectives! As we shaked hands

"We are sorry to barge in unannounced , we were hoping to ask you some questions if that's ok with you?

" Off course, Marco you can head out " I turned facing him

" You sure" he whispered

" Yes" I nodded " well let's sit down

As we all sat down on the table I noticed Jack's hard stare on me

" Well what's this all about! I asked

" Mr Rouhas there have been dead bodies found this area , some are dumped outside doors and some in dumpsters" he explained

" I didn't know anything about that, but what does this have to do with you here?

" We're investigating off course! Jack shot back

" I know that Detective Jack! Why am I one of your suspects? I clenched my jaw

" No, we don't yet know anything but we thought because your club is amongst one of the famous clubs in New York maybe you can allow us to interrogate your stuff maybe they can know something"

"Tomorrow I'll have my night stuff ready for you Detective!

" Good , thank you for understanding Mr Rouhas" John chimmed in

" Anytime Detective , well I have to go it's getting late and I have somewhere else to be"

" Sure , thank you" we shaked hands

" It's nice to see you again Jack" I smirked as I glanced at him as he walked out.

I sighed as they both were out of sight

" Tyly get Valerio to find out if the stuff knows anything about these murders tell him to make sure they tell one story, this cops can be clever dive into other subjects!

" Si Capo" he nodded as he walked out

After the long day I had I decided to just go back and rest as the elevator took me up I stared down at my phone as Ivana's phone call rang on and on my finger swiped the dismiss button as the elevator doors opened up to the living room. Walking inside with my untied tie hanging around my neck and my suit coat on my hand my nostrils were filled with a delicious smell coming from the kitchen.

" Your just in time dinner is ready! Her soft voice echoed

" Maryjane what are you doing here! I stood in the middle of the leaving room starring at her in her cute apron

" What do you mean, I made dinner it is my Job after all"

" I know, but I told Sophie that you shouldn't come in today!I threw my coat at the sofa and placed my phone on the table as I moved closer to where she was standing

" Well.. I am I noticed that you got mad at me earlier and I wanted to clear the air between us" she bit her lip

" Am not mad at you Maryjane! I sighed

" Am glad you not, and I wanted to uhm..  say thank you for helping me with Roy and everything" she chuckled right before she bit her lip

My eyes glanced at her lips and back at her eyes I swallowed hard controlling the sensual feeling that was building up inside

" Your welcome! Slowly moving closer to her my fingerings caressed her soft cheek slowly as her eyes shut leaning on my hand. " Your so beautiful , has anyone ever tell you that " I whispered

" Thank you for your compliment" her voice hushed

" I have to go! She moved passed me her voice almost unheard

I quickly grabbed her arm and turned her to face me as her small figure crashed on mine . My right arm snaked around her waist as the other around her neck as my eyes looked down at her and my lips immediately crushed on hers as I kissed her so slowly bitting her lower lip closing my eyes as I deepen the kiss.
