Yesterday,
I saw my Maths teacher.
And I became a child againI remember the infamous 12 strokes
Instead of 6 every one got
All because I took him
On a merry go roundI remember falling drops of tears
On longitude and latitude pagesI remember pompous math geeks solving Maths without explaining.
I remember 2 hours straight Maths class
The longest I had ever had thenI remember high fives and laughter
As we won the quiz prizeI remember Maths jokes
Seasoned with witty sayings and adviceI remember my first perfect score
And the pride in his eyesHello sir, do you remember me?
Because, I remember you.
