Childhood Memories.

6 2 3

Yesterday,
I saw my Maths teacher.
And I became a child again

I remember the infamous 12 strokes
Instead of 6 every one got
All because I took him
On a merry go round

I remember falling drops of tears
On longitude and latitude pages

I remember pompous math geeks solving Maths without explaining.

I remember 2 hours straight Maths class
The longest I had ever had then

I remember high fives and laughter
As we won the quiz prize

I remember Maths jokes
Seasoned with witty sayings and advice

I remember my first perfect score
And the pride in his eyes

Hello sir, do you remember me?
Because, I remember you.
