***Ariels POV***

Once we got home from the cafe, Cameron was seated on the couch watching some reality show. Although he didn't appear to be paying much attention to it, seeing as since he was on his phone.

"Hey Cam! We're back." My mother says walking into the living room with Cam. I follow slowly behind her. Unsure of his mood or his feelings of my presence.

"I can see that." He says in a flat voice, not looking up from his phone. Typical Cameron.

"Well who are you chit chatting with?" My mom asks him, peering over his shoulder. He scrunches away from her and pulls his phone to his chest. Also very typical Cameron. Always so secretive.

"Just the realtor lady. I'm trying to find a cheap apartment close to campus." He says and shrugs his shoulders.

"Oh, well if you need a place to stay until you find one, I'm sure Ariel would let you stay here." My mom says and looks towards me.

Is she joking?! Didn't I just tell her that Harry and him do not like each other?! Is she trying to ruin my relationship?! I thought she liked him!

He shoots a look at me to read my expression. I know he would absolutley love it if he could stay here, and he also must know that I would most definitley not be okay with that at all. "Um... I don't know if Kaidyn would be comfortable with that. This place was meant to be for just me and her." I quickly make up an excuse.

"It would just be for a few weeks or so until he finds a place." My mom says. Can't she let him speak for himself?

"I don't think Cameron would like living in a house with two girls." I say.

"I wouldn't mind actually." Satans son speaks with the biggest grin I've ever seen plastered on his face.

"Of course you wouldn't..." I say glaring at him.

"Well it's none of my business, you two can figure it out." My mom says and I send her a glare as well.

"No, it isn't any of your business to suggest that he stays at my house with my best friend." I quickly say and turn on my heels and run up the stairs to my room. I slam the door shut like a pissed off teenager and flop down on my bed, burrying my face in the pillows.

Harry will be so mad when he finds out that Cameron is going to our school. I can't even imagine how upset he will be when he finds out that he might be staying at my house for weeks. I might not be having a boyfriend for much longer.

That thought shoots worry and hurt all through out my body. He wouldn't leave me so soon, would he? Over something like that? It's hard to tell if he would do something like that. I still don't know him well enough to know something like that.

I hear a knock at my door but I don't say anything. The person just walks in and I feel my bed dip in slightly.

"Honey? Would you like to ask Harry to come over for dinner tonight so all of us can get to know each other better? I think it might be good for Cameron and Harry." My mom says. I peer out from pillow to see her face. "I'm sorry if my suggesting that Cam stays with you, stressed you out." She finishes with sincerity.

"I'm an adult now. And this is my house and Kaidyns. Not yours. It wasn't your place to invite him like that." I say with frustration but try to keep my tone down.
