Rosie was currently stood with Marta. It was the memorial for Harlan's death at the Thrombey estate.
"Marta?" Rosie asks softly, looking up at the older girl.
"Yeah, Rosie?" She asks. Rosie once again has tears cascading down her plump, rosy cheeks, making her look a lot younger. Marta can hardly glance at the grief-stricken girl, guilt consuming her.
"I miss him."
Marta knew exactly what Rosie was talking about. She quickly pulled the smaller girl in for a hug, quietly whispering, "I'm so sorry, Rosie. It's all my fault." Rosie looks at the girl in confusion, pulling back from the conforming hug. She didn't understand how it was Marta's fault, because to her, Marta was too nice to hurt anyone.
Before she could share her confusion, Fran frantically approached Marta, and started rambling on about a movie named 'Deadly by surprise' and about her cousin who works at the medical examiner's office. Marta seems dazed like she isn't fully listening. She suddenly starts swaying and grabs at the wall, nearly knocking Rosie over in the process.
"Whoa, hey, hey." Meg comes rushing over, manoeuvring Rosie our of harms way, before rubbing Marta's back, keeping her steady. "Hey. Breathe. Fran have you still got your stash?"
Fran directs them to her secret stash, of what? Rosie doesn't know, then leaving to give the girls some privacy. Meg lights a cigarette, offering it to Marta, who declines, then placing it between her own lips.
"Can I try it?" Rosie requests, big brown eyes boring into Meg's.
"No, Rosie, it's not good for you." Meg quickly denies. She chucks the cigarette in the lit fireplace so as to not bait the young girl.
"That's where Fran keeps her stash?" Marta questions curiously, joining the conversation, after she had calmed down and stopped pacing the length of the room.
"Who's going to open a clock?" Meg shrugs, her question rhetorical.
Rosie quietly sneaks away, the events becoming less and less interesting, and goes off to find her mother, or to go and get some food. She really loves food.

The next day, the rest of the family were awaiting the will reading of Harlan Thrombey. Linda and Richard were expecting the house, Joni was expecting a large sum of money, and Walt and Donna were expecting the publishing company. The likes of Jacob and Meg were just expecting the same as their parents. Rosie however, had no understanding of what was going on. She was just on the lookout for Ransom. She hoped she would see him today, as he hadn't come the last few days for the funeral or for questioning with the police.
Rosie is currently in the kitchen, it was a good watch space to look out the window, and see if Ransom turned up.
"Rosie? What're you doing up there?" Richard asks, wondering why his daughter was sat in the kitchen window, staring out at an empty drive way.
"Waiting for Ransom." She replied nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders slightly.
"Okay..." Richard trails off, unsure if he should tell her that it was unlikely for Ransom to turn up. "Just don't be too sad if he doesn't come, okay?"
Rosie just nods, not really paying attention to her father anymore. He walks out of the room, just as Rosie gets down from the window sill, going to raid the cupboards for food while she waits for her brother.

Random Drysdale pulls up to the Thrombey house, stepping out of his car, and slamming the door shut. Almost immediately, the dogs are jumping at him, trying to bite his pant legs. He swiftly kicks them away, marching up to the house, confidence radiating off him.
