Chapter 17 : The Friendship Duel

Episode 31: The Friendship Duel

Star and Marco Diaz welcome to the Friendship Duel. I will oversee you within this duel today and for the best of it all we have an audience: your families. Star's Family: Moon, Eclipsa, River, Globgore, and Meteora. For Marco Diaz we have Angie, Rafael, and Mariposa Diaz. Now To lay some ground rules since I don't want to intervene because I want this to show the best you both have inside of you but at the same time I need you both safe So Rule number one you may both attack each other with your strongest spells but only in defense and when I command since both of you will be doing so at the same time. Second I want to make sure you know this is a learning activity and I want you to show everything you have without hurting anyone. I know that you will do the best you can since I know your powers are both growing and developing still and I want you to grow. This is the rules for the duel I have set out and lastly just to make sure I was told when a queen of Mewni wishes to create and train without the risk of major harm I was told to cast this up and it would increase the safety of each dueler. Training Training Is What we Need But We must be safe when we go to battle for the safety of our needs. 

A physical Bubble went over the region assigned to the duel. Star and the other Two began to have a flow of energy that came over all of them and they had prepared to take up arms. Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz I have armed you with what is known as The Training Master Spell It will protect you from killing yourself and also at the casters command all flow of magic will defuse right away. With That let's begin the duel. They Begin By Starting with a simple spell Each Star had Started out with a Cupcake Blast and Marco Returned the Favor with his own. They had bounced right off of each other's spell and they knew that it was going to be a long battle. 

Star I see that we both have gotten to equal strength in our spell casting. Yeah you have gotten stronger but not strong enough I know why Skywynne chose to use this moment to allow us to get stronger Flying Pig Blast. Marco was not expecting this to come at him and as a result he cast Mixed Martial Arts Rainbow Thing which caused Star to become distracted and he followed up with Jelly Bean Hallucination. Wow You know how to stop me when I am trying to make you bring out the most but I know that this is just only the beginning of what you are capable of and I want to see you be capable of doing your best. I will always be by your side and nothing will change that and now here is what you need. Spider With A Top Hat Blast! War Cry! 

Marco moved quickly and created a new spell that was a meat shields knowns as Walls Of Fluff which summoned a hard thick wall of Marshmallow that hardens upon contact and he casted Karate Hand which made her fumble and he casted Rainbow Blast which put her on the ground and Skywynne Stopped all flow of magic and they felt like they were hit with a ten ton of bricks. That Was a good beginning. I would like you two to talk for a while and just see what you both can do together and we will start this up once again. Star and Marco take a moment and have just a nice calm moment together. That was so amazing Marco I can't believe you stood toe to toe making it possible for us to be prepared and that spell you created is so helpful making it possible to defend ourselves when we need it. What was the wording you used to cast the spell? I used the following words: Fluffing The Frame To Protect What I need to save. It allows for us to have something keeping us safe and making it possible for us to be prepared for a bad situation we may be facing. Well Marco Diaz I always had the spells to stop my enemies but never really had spells to protect me and we may need it in the future. 

That Moment Star and Marco Felt something happen and they also realized that something was heading their way. Star Something is wrong who would attack us. Well Marco Why are we talking when an attack is hurdling our way. Star Casts Up Wall of Fluff protecting them and the scene changes to Skywynne after she had stopped the duel. That Was Awesome You two take a moment and we will start again in a few minutes. Moon and Eclipsa Join her and they all step aside and discuss what they saw. That Was a rare treat seeing the both of them working together. I know I never thought I would see the day Star and Marco working together to better prepare but I wonder if maybe we aren't giving them our all. They can only do so much against themselves and it doesn't prepare them to work together. I know and I don't know what I could do. I could come up with a way for them to have an enemy to fight while in this region that is bound to the region set by the training spell. Well I know that they worked together when they were fighting against Ludo but he was weak I feel someone in specific that matches their skills that they have never seen before that would be like the MHC they will eventually face may be the best bet since we need them to work together making it possible for them to grow. I know they both have more potential than we can see coming but knowing at the same time the way they both have come is so amazing but they need everything they have. Well I agree since I know what may come when they take hatred of what was stopped and she undid the destruction that was caused by me and our families.
