Emily's POV
The last person I see before I shut my eyes is Derek. I love him but knowing I was going to die, staring into his eyes was not going was not what I needed right now. All I needed were JJ's. I can feel myself slowly falling into the dark, I can't breathe. I can't feel. The next thing I know, I'm waking up alone in a hospital bed.
A couple days, I'm already making plans to leave when I need my team the most.
When I recovered, I stepped onto a plane ready to leave everyone behind, but luckily I get to see JJ one last time. I met her at a little cafe and I could feel my heart leaping out of my chest because I want my life was about to be ripped apart and I can't even keep the one thing, the one person I loved the most. As I get up and walk away from her, I can feel my heart breaking into a million pieces with every step I take, getting further and further away from my one chance at happiness.
