It was finally Sunday – the day both of them had been yearning for the entire week.
Chan was rummaging through his cupboard for an ideal outfit, shuffling through piles of black shirts and denims, because we all know how much he loves the dark shade (maybe more than how much Changbin loves dark).
"Are you still looking for an outfit?" Jisung appeared by his side, almost giving him a heart attack as to how he noiselessly reached him.
"How did you come in so quietly?" Chan asked him.
Jisung clicked his tongue, "I literally stomped my way to you."
"Oh."
Chan had told the boys about his date, and after a lot of hoots and whistles, and teasing and Hyunjin's dramatic tears, he had finally reached the day of the meet – the day he'd been looking forward to for the entire week.
And he was just three hours away from meeting the girl he'd come to like so much.
"Let me guess; you're nervous about the meet?" Jisung knowingly asked.
"No?"
"You're lying."
"Never been more anxious!" Chan sighed heavily, "What if she thinks I'm a freak?"
"Freak?"
"I don't know, I tend to overthink a lot."
"Stop making up unrealistic scenarios in your head, you delulu," Jisung shook his head, "If she's the right one, then she'd see past the faults that you think you have."
"Never thought you had it in you, man," Chan joked, seeing as Jisung pouted, with his cheeks becoming puffed and his eyes squinted. That made him laugh even more.
"Kidding!" Chan patted his shoulder, and Jisung commented, "Don't wear all black, emo. You'll scare her."
"All I have are-"
"Negative thoughts!" Felix shouted from another corner of the house.
"black cloth- What the hell, Joker?"
Jisung doubled over in laughter.
"Give me a good outfit," Chan pleaded, and minutes later, he was clad in the simplest of clothes – a white t-shirt over denim jeans.
"I hope I'm looking okay."
---
"I hope I'm looking okay."
Aisha nibbled on her nails in anxiety before realizing that they were painted. She grimaced over the metallic taste and washed her hands.
She looked at herself again in the mirror, settling her hair with a comb and glancing over her outfit once again – her denim shorts over a rose-gold colored shirt, with her hair left open as it is.
Not knowing what else to do, she texted Chan:
Me:
OMG WE'RE FINALLY GONNA MEET!!
Chan:
EXACTLY LIKE OML I CAN'T BELIEVE
Me:
I CAN'T WAIT!!
Next chapter:
"Chan?"
His head snapped up at the sweet, familiar voice he had heard a couple of time before on the phone.
And there she was – real, physically present with him. Also, a couple of inches taller than him.
(a/n: happy 4k to us!! Thank you sooo much for the continued support! I love you guys, and I mean it!
Also, stay tuned for the next chapter, coz it's gonna be what y'all were waiting for!)
