Prompt: Why do you hate me?

I wandered through the mansion out of pure boredom. I had run out of room in my sketchpad so now I was just wandering. I noticed that Helen or Bloody Painter was walking close behind me. I began to speed up, my heart racing. Helen began to slightly walk faster himself, which made me become nervous. As Helen got closer I couldn't take it and I ran. Helen stopped but soon chased after me. I took random turns until I spotted an open door. I quickly ran inside and closed the door behind me, locking it. I turned around to meet with Jeff's confused and surprised face, "(Name)? What was that all about?" My best friend asked as he turned fully to me. "I can't do it! I keep running away from Helen, I can't bring myself to face him." I yelped, tears began to well up in my eyes. Jeff came to me, "Hey! I'm sure you'll be able to face him!" Jeff wiped away the tears that were dripping down my cheeks. "Just... Do it!" Jeff wasn't the best when it came to motivation. I sighed and smiled sadly, "It's harder than you'd think." I said as I grabbed my arms. Jeff pouted and looked like he was in a thinking state, which was rare. "Oh! We could go on a killing spree. You know, to get you more confident?" Jeff suggested. I liked the sound of it, it sounded fun. "Yeah, that sounds nice." I said with a more enthusiastic smile. Jeff peaked out to make sure Helen wasn't in the area before we left.

-Time Skip!-

When we came back we were covered in blood. Helen was sitting on the couch and drawing, so naturally I sprinted upstairs. I washed the blood off of my body and changed clothes, my uncomfortable state ceasing. I left my room and walked back down stairs, to begin my previous wandering. The moment I passed the living room Helen started to follow me, making me nervous. I turned the corner and began to walk at a quicker pace. Helen growled and just started to run at me. I yelped and ran, taking random turns wasn't my best choice. I ran to a dead end at a hallway. I ran into the wall and by the time I turned around Helen was already standing there, his face in a snarl. Helen violently blocked my exits with his arms and glared at me, "(Name)." Helen's voice was flooded with rage which made me shudder. "Why do you hate me?" Helen's voice cracked slightly. I felt my heart shatter, pity riddled my mind. "I don't hate you!" I said with a small blink of surprise. "Then why do you keep running away from me?!" Helen's voice boomed, "It's because I love you, Helen." Once those words came out of my mouth I regretted it. Helen's face had turned into a surprised and his cheeks were a bright rose red. I turned my head and covered my mouth with my hand and my teary eyes with my hand. "(Name), look at me." Helen demanded, I did as he ask in complete defeat and looked at him. My lip quivered slightly when Helen placed his hand on my cheek and leaned forward, giving me the option to turn away. I did nothing. Helen quickly closed the gap between us and kissed me passionately, I kissed back and moved my hands and placed them on his neck. When Helen pulled away his face was crimson red, "I love you too. Don't ever think otherwise." Helen's voice was softer than it was before but it was also stern. I smiled and nodded, not the best way to confess but also not the worst.
