Masky x Bullied!Reader Pt2

After school, that's when shit got real. I was dragged to the back of the school by Ben and was greeted by Jeff, Jane, Clockwork and EJ. I felt weak and unsafe, and that was for a reason. I was thrown against the wall and was beaten, to the point where I was coughing up blood. Everyone was laughing, making me tremble even more. Ben roughly grabbed me and rolled up my sleeves, revealing the cuts on my arms. "Look at that, the bitch is depressed!" Ben said smugly. "Hey!" A voice yelled. I was too weak to move, but I recognized the voice, Masky. Everyone scattered, since Masky was one of the most powerful people in the school. Masky ran up to me and quickly lifted me up, pulling me into a hug. I was taken aback by this course of action. Me and Masky live on the same street, but that's about it. There is the occasional looking out for each other but we never really talked like friends. Masky took out a cloth from his pocket and began to dab the wounds on my face, neck, and stomach. I felt a small heat rise to my face. Masky then found his way to my arms, cuts decorated the soft skin on the backside of it. Masky trailed his fingers down the large cuts on my wrists, "(Name), you should have told me." Masky growled. "B-But I don't want to be a bother, or a nuisance..." I said softly. A growl escaped Masky's lips, he aggressively grabbed my shoulders. "Your not a nuisance!" Masky yelled in annoyance. I looked at Masky with a surprised look, "M-Masky...?" I lightly placed my hand on his cheek to try and calm him. Words cannot describe how awkward I felt, yet how happy I felt. "Let's get you to the nurses office, and this time your going to tell them what really happened." Masky lifted me off the ground and led me to the nurses office, "Oh my. What happened this time?" Doctor Smiley asked. I didn't know how to explain what happened, how could I? I barely could comprehend what was happening in front of me. Masky sighed, "A group of students ganged up on her and beat her." Masky explained for me. Doctor Smiley took my arm and examine the cuts. He quickly realized they weren't fresh and his eye brows furrowed, but then moved to the wounds on my face and neck. "Alright, just take a seat and I'll help your wounds." Smiley said calmly, gesturing to one of the beds. I sat down and Masky sat down next to me. Smiley was able to easily patch up my wounds and had us leave. Me and Masky still had to get our book-bags out of our lockers, meaning we had to pass by the whole class including Jeff, Ben, Jane, Clockwork and EJ. As we walked by all the students I noticed some people were whispering and staring at us. A low growl escaped Masky's lips. With one swift move, Masky turned my body to him and kissed me. I was shocked, and so was everyone else. When Masky pulled away he grabbed my hand and dragged me to our lockers. I quickly opened my locker and packed the stuff that I needed. Masky had already finished, and was now waiting for me. I closed my locker and turned to Masky, my eyes averted. Masky grabbed my hand and left the school with me, still confused. "(Name)." Masky said, I looked at him. "Y-Yeah?" I stammered with a small smile. "When I kissed you, I didn't do that because I wanted people to stop." Masky started, now coming to a stop. I felt my face flare up, "It was because I love you." Masky's face was lightly dusted with a shade of pink. I didn't know how to respond, without thinking I put my hands on Masky's cheeks and kissed him. Masky chuckled and kissed me back gently, placing his hands on my waist. Both of our lungs begged for air, therefore we pulled away. I smiled at Masky softly, "I love you." I said in a soft voice. Masky smiled back, "I love you too." He said sweetly. We both locked hands and walked back to our respective houses.
