"Good-bye Lucy, have an amazing first day darling, I wish I could walk you in but you understand why I can't."
His face had a great smile but all I could see was the pain in his eyes.

" Good-bye father, don't worry ill be alright, I will write as much as possible!" As i dragged my deep purple suitcase from the car, I managed to pick up toto, my pure black owl from the backseat without struggling.
I wave after him once last time before entering King Cross Station.

Of course I understand why he couldn't come in, he is Tom riddle after all, the who-shall-not-be-named or the dark Lord however you want to put it, he's just my dad and a great one as well, obviously minus the mass murder part he's pretty amazing. My mother passed away three year ago, I'm just like her my father says, I do have his witty and bold attitude but I'm also selfless and kind like my mother. I got my last name off her as my father didn't want to put me into any danger even though I know one day it will.

As I collect my belongings and shove my backpack on, I check my shimmering diamond watch, "shit only ten minutes until the train leaves" I hurry down the steps and onto the platform looking for 9 and three quarter I couldn't see it as I start to panic something caught my eye or shall I say someone..

Platinum blonde hair and a gorgoeus smile, slightly slouched over but at least 6"1, he was walking with a women must of been his mother, they had the same platinum hair colour after all. I watched them walking threw a wall between the platforms and I mentally slap myself, of course it will be a magical wall hidden away.
I hurry along threw the wall as I see hundreds of people boarding the train I quickly place my luggage into the compartment and placed toto along with the other pets, I slowly made my way down the train trying to find a place to sit when I bumped into a ginger haired male.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" I mumbled quickly, not wanting to make enemys on my first day.
"don't worry about it, I'm Ron you must be New" he spluttered with a mouth full of chocolate, he switched his sweets into his other hand and offered me his. I shook it gently.
"my names, Lucy I'm a six year, this is my first day as you can tell and I don't really know anyone."
"Don't worry, come join me, my friends are more then welcoming,"
As I followed him down the train heads turned my way, my face reddening by the minute, did I have something on my clothes? Is my cloack stuck out? I was to petrified to check.

Finally we got to the cabin and he opened the door I was shocked to find the one and only Harry Potter...
My father's worst enemy a simple, dark haired, sixteen year old lad. The first thing I noticed was his scar across his head. I quickly looked away as the curly haired girl looked up from her book and gave me the sweetest smile.

"Hi,you must be New? I'm hermonie granger and this is Harry Potter"
"Hi I'm Lucy Baker, I guess it must show" I giggle, both of them give me a kind slightly sympathetic smile as I sat down Harry spoke.
"it's great to meet you, Lucy don't worry your gonna fit in here just perfect, as long as your not a slytherin of course, we won't mind either way but its a dangerous house full of unruly and dishonest people"

I was shocked at his words although I knew I didn't want to be in slytherin part of me hoped I would be just like my father, "I just hope whatever house I'm in the accept me for me and don't try to change me as I believe I have traited for them all, I have courage, the brains, I'm full of kindness but I'm also witty and bold"
"you sound just like a gryffindor" ron said as he munched on his second chocolate frog.

I smiled gently as we spoke about the different houses and all the fun they did over the summer I finally felt like I belonged here..
