End Of Year Ball

Fast forward a month, life was great, me hermonie and Ron were the new golden trio, Harry hadnt been in school since that night, it was the day time before the dance, I was going with draco, we wasn't official yet I didn't have time for that, but we was close, bestfriend shall we say.

I slipped on my dazzling black ball gown, pinned two parts of my hair behind my head and curled the rest with black smokey eye and red lips, hermonie added some glitter to the corners and added gems at the side of my head, I stood up and looked into the mirror gob smacked at myself. I look unrecognisable, beautiful and mysterious.

Hermonie joined one side in a gorgeous deep red dress with her hair mostly up with a few strands falling down and natural but bold makeup, where as ginny joined with a emerald green dress and bold green make up.
Grabbing my purse as we headed down the steps, out of the common room and down to the great hall.

As I slowly went down the stairs hand in hand with the girls my eyes darted to the infamous draco malfoy.
Tight black suit with a white top with an attractive smile his eyes brightening up the room, his eyes connected with mine. I felt like I was floating, time stood still, chills spread all over my body when he took my hand.

We all walked in and eyes was on us, we all looked hot so I wasn't surprised. He lead me to the dance floor as we started the dance he whispered to me seductively,
"You look gorgeous tonight, if we was alone I would show you how much I'm obsessed with you right now."
His voice soothing and deep, the words fluttering around in my head as a deep rouge red blush set upon my face, thank the gods for make up.

"You don't look to bad yourself malfoy" I giggled back to him. He shook his head laughing as I leaned in and kissed him, people gasped around us, all eyes where on us.
Suddenly the door burst open and in walked.
Harry Potter.

He walked over to us and more people gasped and whispered started all around I clinged on to dracos hand as he approached.
"Can I take this dance" he offered me his hand.
"why would I do that?"
"Because we need to talk and you did say yes to me being your date."

I took his hand as he lead me back to the dance floor and the music started up, we was the only ones dancing he was swaying me around the door, twirling me around.
"We are soul mates Lucy, dumbledore told me everything, I won't stop until your mine."
I was gob smacked at his words.
Soul mates.
"Not a chance Potter, you may be mine but I'll never be yours."
"So you didn't feel the spark when we kissed that day?"
"yes I did but guess what Harry"
As the song started to die down draco made his way back over.
"what?"
"My soul mate will never be you because iv already found mine and our 'spark' is much greater."
"who?who could possible make you feel ways that only a soul mate could feel?"
I went to draco and held his hand.
"Draco malfoy"
Harry was shocked he didn't know what to say as I lead draco away.

I took him into the room of requirement and sat down onto a couch.
"Draco sit I need to tell you something."
"whats wrong" he wondered sitting by my side.
"All this time I thought I could never enjoy the company of a malfoy, your always here for me, you make me feel things I didn't ever think I could feel draco.. What I'm trying to say is.."
"I love you" he spoke before I could finsh my sentence.
"what? "
"I love you Lucy iv loved you for a long time and I know your still figuring things out but I had to let you know".
I grabbed his face and kissed him deeply.
"Draco malfoy, I am inlove with you"

I knew what I was doing, this wouldn't be all fairy lights and daisys he is his father's son, he's toxic but I'm going to help him, we both know when to call quits we might only be 16 but I'm not stupid, your never to young to know what love is.

He looked at me shocked but happy.
"But I can't be with you, not just yet"
His words set me back.
"why not? I thought you just said you loved me?"
"I do Lucy but my father he wants me to marry you, he told me a few weeks ago if we get married he gets more power and money and he's already got enough, please say you understand."

"Of course I understand"
I knew what he meant his father is a bitter man, he can be kind but power trumps love for him and he would throw everyone in the deep end for a bit of it. I kissed him deeply and slowly, savouring every kiss.
He slowly broke away, kissing my neck and grabbing onto my waist and pushed me down onto the couch, my head had gone to cloud nine.

He slowly reach the back of my dress to zip it down.
A moan escaped from my lips and looked down with pure lust.
"wait.." I pushed him off.
"I'm not ready"
He looked at me for a split second confused and then realised what I meant.
"Wait are you still a.."
"yes I am" I spoke quickly cutting him off.
"I promised myself to save myself for someone special and you are the special one I just Dont think I'm ready just yet."
"I understand don't worry" he reached around and zip my dress back to the top and sorted out my hair, slipping on his jacket he kissed my hand and took me back into the ball room as we danced the night away without a thought of anyone else.

Harry was placed in the corner talking to hermonie and Ron they didn't seem happy speaking to him but I didn't pay to much attention I was happy, I was loved and I won't cut my happiness short for someone who claims to be my soulmate.
