Fate

The Weasleys

I held her all night, clothes drenched with tears, throats sore and teary eyes. Draco left us after two hours so we could be alone. I brought her to the common rooms as everyone had left hogwarts except the party going on downstairs.

I took her to her room and helped her slip some pj's on as I climbed into bed with her cuddling her until she fell asleep. Her heart was broken, I soon fell asleep and woke to someone knocking on the door. I looked up at the sky and it was morning, beautiful clear skies, blazing sun and birds churping.

"Ron would of hated today" she sniffled with a slight laugh,
"He always got burned when it was this sunny." a little giggle escaped my lips.
"Wait here Mon let me see whos at the door." I kissed her forehead and placed the blanket over her, I approached the door and slipped out.

I was pulled into a soft kiss, looking up into them gorgeous eyes.
My whole body melts under his gaze.
"How is she" his voice still ruff and hoarse from waking up.
"She's bad but she made herself laugh slightly this morning which is great! But I think all this kissing and hugging ect should be kept to a minimum when near her for obvious reasons."
I looked down, he moved his hand from my waist and moved my chin up.
"I understand don't worry, when you and hermonie are ready come down the great hall his family are here we need to start planning his funeral."

I kissed him once more before turning back into the room, hermonie was still snug in bed I could tell she had been crying again.
" Come here mon" I scraddled her as she cried once more, I was I could take away her pain. It's going to be such a long road but she's so strong I know she can do it.

After ten minutes she sat up,
"Mon, Ron's family is here they want to start planning the funeral, they want you there."
"I don't know if I can Lucy."
"I understand, honestly if you don't want to you don't have to but I'll be there for you every step of the way and molly does want to see you."

After a moment she agrees and gets up to shove some clothes on, I go and do the same, shoving my hair into a quick Bun and helping hermonie Brush her hair, I held her hand as we went down the steps. She fell to her knees in the common room and started crying, her hand on the spot where her and Ron used to sit all the time.
"He said he was going to marry me, he said we was going to have 10 children and live in a mansion. He promised we would be together forever..."
I fell next to her, she placed her head on my shoulder as the common room opened up, George and Fred were stood at the door looking down at hermonie and me.

They slowly came over, eyes rimmed red, Fred put his hand onto hermonie shoulder, she looked up to him and stood up the wrap him into a hug as I stood next to George.
"I'm so sorry about Ron" I looked up at him, he gave me a small smile as I gave him a massive hug, I could tell he needed it.
He held me back and sobbed into my shoulder, I started crying back I had tried to hard to keep it all in because they needed me but I couldn't help it.

"You know Lucy one day your gonna do amazing things, like maybe finish off that cake from last week"
Me and Ron were sat in the common room waiting for Harry and hermonie.
"I know you ate it Ron stop bringing it up" I laughed at him.
He held his hand to his heart and gave the most stupid shocked face I had ever saw.
Both of us burst into laughter as I threw a chocolate frog onto his head and he went around the room shouting trying to get it off him.
I was laughing so much I couldnt physically breathe as he held onto my shoulder.
"Bloody hell, trying to kill us both now"
I just slapped his chest as I couldn't stop laughing.

Now I couldn't stop crying,
"Come on guys, mums waiting"
Fred spoke from next to us, hermonie approached me and held onto my hand as we walked threw the halls, nothing was ever going to be the same.
The walls used to full of laughter bouncing of each one, now silence, full of tears.

We approached the great hall and both me and hermonie were pulled into a great hug by molly.
"I'm so sorry molly, I tried to save him but they were too fast it should of be me!" hermonie broke down into molly's arms.
"Don't be silly child, he loved you so much hermonie I know you tried your best but I'm thankful you are alive instead of worse as well!"
I stood into the great hall and seen everyone sat around the tables all grief stricken faces, even of those who never knew him.

" I can't believe you did that Lucy"
We all was running out of the great hall as I set off hundreds of fireworks with the twins.
"Ron maybe you should try it sometime!"
"Yeah maybe, when I want to die!" he shouted as I burst out laughing!
"It would be a good way to go"
We turned around and caught a glimps of Snape and I grabbed his hand and ran.
As we turned the corner we bumped into draco,
"Happy couple I see, both a pair of dirty blood traitors."
"fuck off malfoy" Ron spoke clear, as he turned to me shocked at his own language.
We started to run off laughing our heads off,
"imagine thinking a boy and girl can't just be best friends the idiot"
"well that's malfoy for you"
"he's just clearly jealous he wants your hand in marriage Ronald" I burst into laughter once more, he hated when I called him that.

The hall was so cold and quiet now, I sat down next to draco with hermonie on the other side, Fred and George Infront of me, my father walked into the room and sat at the end of the table.
