The Vanishing Cabinet

It's been three hours since I started the cabinet, I had nearly fixed it and tried placing items threw to see if it worked, first I used an apple it came back with half of it missing, the next was a little white bird which unfortunaly came back dead and the final one is a little black bird.

As I went to place it into the cabinet I heard a voice shouting my name threw near the door I threw the blanket over and hid, as the voice came closer I regonised it as dracos. I wasn't in the mood to talk to him tonight, not ever I kept hiding but as he got closer he must of seen my book, stupid me leaving it out.

"Lucy, please can we talk"
"Leave me alone draco, you made your choice I hope your happy."
"Happy? HAPPY!" He screamed, I flinched slightly.
"I'm not happy! I didn't ask her to kiss me!"
" but yet you kissed her back, just leave me alone I'm with Potter now" I held my breathe, I knew it was a lie but he didn't.
I heard him kick over a chair and start to walk the other way.
"Whatever Lucy, like I said easily replaceable."
I stood from my hiding place and I watch him hold his breathe as he seen me.
"Easily replaceable, you can't replace something you never had draco. We wasn't anything, I cared for you as a friend, we would never be anything else you are bad blood and your whole family makes me feel sick!"
I quickly grabbed my book and pushed my way past him, he grabbed my arm and turned me around. His gaze making me melt all over once again.

But as if on instinct I spat in his face.
" Your gonna regret that you bitch,"
" Fuck you and your little slut"
I turned around and stormed off.

The next morning dumbledore asked me about the Vanishing Cabinet, I told him it was nearly complete as I ran off to the requirement room pushing threw the items I did once last spell and popped the black bird into the cabinet.

Thankfully it came back Alive! It was complete.
I was so excited to finally be free.
As I left the room off to the owerly to message my father, draco stopped me.
"Don't tell him yet Lucy, the quicker you tell him, the quicker it happens which means we won't be at the ball."

"Why would you care about a ball draco, your going with pansy doesn't seem very exciting."
"Im not going with anyone I just love the way you look in a dress." his eyes glancing at me the way they did when he seen me in my red dress all them months ago
"Well I'm sorry to ruin your fantasy but I don't want to be here anymore the quicker he knows the quicker I can leave!"
"What about Harry?"
"he will be fine ginny will be there."
"i thought you was him was together?"
Shit I completely forgot about that one. He seemed to notice me trying to come up with an excuse when all of a sudden he was Infront of me and kissed me.
Filled with passion, lust and hunger. Iv never felt such emotion in a kiss before and I couldn't help but kiss back. Before long he broke of the kiss.
"please just wait" as he left to leave.
I wonder what he had planned.

Instead I took a detore and went to the common room to find hermonie.
She was sat on the couch revising like usual but this time she was all alone.
"Hey hermonie I need to ask you something."
"What is it?"
"Do you think people can change?"
She looked up at me, I could see the confusion on her face.
" if your on about draco then no. I don't believe it, easy things can change, the weather, what clothes you want to wear but someone's whole personality cannot change not for a long time."

I huffed and placed myself next to her. I knew she was right, I just didn't want to believe it.
But ill wait Ill tell him on the night of ball after all I'm gonna look bad ass and I can't waste that!
" I'm jealous of the way, he's happy without me."
Hermonie looked at me as if it was for the first time, she pushed her feelings about draco aside as she knew her friend needed her. Just because she couldn't see it doesn't mean someone else couldn't.
"I'm sorry Lucy, all I can say is apparently someone told pansy to kiss him, she knew you was there before she did. I don't know who but he still kissed her back."
Who the hell would tell her to do that? Potter

"Where's Harry?"
"in the library, why?"
I sprinted out before I could answer, I was sick of this, I knew it was him! I seen him alone in the library, he gave me a quick smile as he seen me, then his face fell as he seen I was pissed!
"Why did you tell pansy to kiss draco? Don't try and tell me it wasn't you because I knew it was!"
"I'm sorry Lucy, he's no good I did this for you!"
Anger was bubbling up in me, people started to group around and in the crowd I seen draco stood there with his head down. Pansy next to him laughing.
"Trying to help me!? How on earth have you ever helped me."
"Lucy stop," hermonie pleaded behind me.
"No I won't, go on Harry answer that! How have you ever helped me! You have never helped me! Only make things worse!"
"Lucy I never! All I did was to protect you!"
"PROTECT ME!" I screamed.
"What, because my mother couldnt protect me, because YOU KILLED HER!" My voice started to go shaky as everyone gasped, I couldn't see straight the tears taking over my eyes.
"You killed my mother and yet had the decency to stand here and call me your friend! You killed Sophia Baker, I was only thirteen!"
Before he could answer I turned on my heels and sped away I didn't want to know his excuses, I heard feet behind me as I ran as fast as I could out of the castle, down the slope and into the forbidden forest.
