I felt like I was in American horror story. I felt like violet, depressed and lonely.
She relates to me in in so many ways though.
Here I was, in the bathroom with a blade held to my wrist.
Should I?
I didn't know what to do. My life was just a complete screwed up and I wanted to be... free.
But I would always regret it.
The bathroom door was pushed open and in walked Ashton. I froze, the blade still in my hand.
"Kayleigh what are you doing?" His voice rang through my ears. I dropped the blade.
"I..." I stuttered.
He shut the door.
"Come here..." He said, pulling me into his chest. " I promised. I promised Luke I wouldn't. But I can't do this, ash." I cried.
"Shhh... you don't have to cry, Ashton's here." He said in a comforting way. "You sound like Luke, when you say that." I sniffed. "Damn you Australians your voices are like fluffy pillows." I chuckled. "Pillows?" Ashton laughed. "Yeah! Your voices are so calming and shit!" I said.
"So, how long have you been doing... this?" He said, referring to my scars. "Well, since Luke and I broke up. I've done it in the past and I thought that it would get me through." I admitted. "No, no. That doesn't help, trust me." He said, removing some of his bracelets.
Before I could say anything, he took the bracelets off and there was some faint, but visible scars.
"Oh Ashton..." I said, knowing that I finally have someone that knows what I'm going through.
"These were about a year ago, when I started to get a lot of hate." He said. "But I'm over it. And you should be too." He smiled, putting his bracelets on.
I suddenly felt a lot better. "Thank you Ashton. For that. It's made me feel better and made me realise I don't need to do that myself." I said to him, getting up.
"What are you-" Ashton started. I took my blades and flushed them down the toilet. "That's my girl." He said, kissing me on the cheek.
"Now, how about a chick flick marathon with pizza?" He suggested. "Yaaaas!" I said after him.
We ordered pizza and the rest of the boys joined us, even Luke. We kept making eye contact and I nodded toward the kitchen. "I'll be right back." I said, walking to the kitchen. Luke reluctantly followed.
"Kayl-" I didn't even let him finish. I pressed my lips against his.
"Don't. Your apologies make me cry." I laughed.
"Okay." He chuckled, looking me in the eye. "I love you.." He said. I don't know why, but my heart froze. Butterflies erupted in my tummy. This was a repeat of when he first said those words.
"I love you, Lukey." I said, kissing him. "Now, let's get back to them film. I said, leading him out of the kitchen.
----------------------------------------------
I woke up with someone's arms draped over my waist, and breathing on my neck. "Hey." I said poking Luke on the cheek. "Wake uppp!" I said, carrying on.
He groaned. "Noo..." He said groggily. There was a minuet of silence. "I had the best dream." Luke said while grinning. "Wha-" He cut me off. "We got married." He said, seriously.
I was dead quiet. "Really? What was it like?" I asked him.
"It was amazing. You look breathtaking and the boys did a speech and it was really funny. Then we went on a honeymoon, to Rio De Janeiro." He said while smiling.
I wasn't sure of what to say. The thought never crossed my mind.
I haven't fully forgiven him yet, as he did cheat on me.
"I don't know..." I said to him.
"What? Haven't you ever thought about it?" He said, sitting up. "Well I have, but we are young." I said to him. "I know." He sighed. "I just want to prove my self to you!" He said, voice breaking.
I should've known.
"Luke, you don't have to. I love you and you should know that. I've forgiven you, you need to understand that." I said to him, kissing him lightly.
