"Boys." The doctor said.
They had just taken there tests to see if they were a match.
"You aren't matches." He said.
My heart stopped.
"Accept for you." He pointed at someone. I looked up to see that it was Michael was pointing at.
"Your blood related. By mother and father."
"What?!" We both shouted at the same time.
"Yes, Juliet Clifford is your biological mother." He said to me.
I can't take this.
"Phone dad." I said to Michael in a whisper.
"O- okay." He stuttered. He walked out.
"But don't tell him we know!" I shouted after him.
"Okay!" He shouted.
I was actually kind of relived. I had a mom that I could see everyday. And I have a perfect one.
The boys were wide eyed.
"I can't handle this much at one time." I whimpered, breaking down into tears.
Luke came and sat next to me.
"It's alright babe. You'll get through this. I know you will." He said.
Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Luke!" I said quickly. "This is it!! This is the bad thing! I can't believe I didn't notice!" I said to him.
"Oh yeah!" Ashton said.
"Luke. I know how to stop the nightmares. We were going to a spiritualist!" (<<I have no idea😂)
"Okay princess. Ill do it." He said, smiling slightly.
At that moment, the door flew open and in walked Michael and my parents.
"Dad!" I exclaimed. He rushed over to hug me.
"Hey Juliet." I said sarcastically. "Or should I say mom? Yeah, we know. The doctors told us." I stated while crossing my arms.
Her face fell. "You know?" She squeaked.
"Yes I do. And I'm not and I'm not mad at you mom." I said.
"I'm mad at you." I pointed at my dad. "How could you let her take me away?!" I shouted at her.
He hung his head in shame.
"Why?" I whispered. No reply.
"Why?!" I shouted, making everyone jump.
"We were her surrogate." He admitted.
"She couldn't have her own kids, and after we broke up, you were rightfully hers. So she could take you anywhere." He explained.
It makes sense a bit now.
"Mum, dad?" Michael said.
"Yes son?" My dad said.
"I'm giving one of my kidneys to Kayleigh." He said.
"What?! Why?!" They both said, looking between us.
"Her kidney has failed, an the other one is on it's way out." He said, tears in his eyes.
"Oh Michael!" Juliet said, hugging him.
"Your such a brave boy!" She cooed.
Yeah what about me, you know the one that's dying.
"Kayleigh.." She said, hugging me. "You'll be alright sweetheart." She reassured me.
"It's time for surgery now." The doctor said, walking in.
"Okay..." I said.
They took Michael and I away, into the surgery room.
"Are you scared?" He asked me.
"Mhm." I said to him. I've never had surgery of any kind before.
"Don't be. I'm here Kayleigh." He said to me.
"Okay, we are going to give you both anaesthetics. You will fall asleep in 5 seconds." The nurse said.
"I love you mikey..." I trailed off, getting sleepy.
"I love you too, sis." He said.
Then there was black.
