THE HIDDEN ENTRANCE,
CHAPTER SIXONCE faye and leon made it down the hallway quietly, leon quietly unlocked the door at the end of the hallway, holding it open for faye to go through.
leon closes the door behind them, taking a deep breath at the events that had just happened. "leon, look." leon walks over to see the girl, examining the codes of the unicorn statue.
"the second medallion's in here." she smiled, causing leon to smile as well.
"hold on." leon takes the small book out his pocket and hands it to the blonde. faye grabbed the book, flipping through the pages. once she found the right page, she entered the code, causing the medallion to fall out.
faye picks up from it's holster, handing it to leon. "two down, one to go." leon sighs softly, placing it in his pocket.
"we're almost out of here, leon." faye smiled, biting her lip softly. leon couldn't help but stare at faye. as much as he didn't want to admit it, he was starting to fall for faye. whenever he spoke to her, he felt less lonely and honestly, during a time like this, he needed someone by his side.
faye blushed softly, feeling his stare on her. she let's out a small chuckle and tucks a piece of her blonde hair behind her hair. "c'mon, we have to go." leon snaps out of his trance, nodding at the girl's words.
"yeah." leon nodded, walking towards the door that lead them to the library. faye winked at the amount of zombies in the library.
"stay by me, okay?" faye nodded, grabbing leon's hand as they walked up the flight of stairs, quietly. the two quickly made a beeline to a door at the end of the bridge.
they entered the room, only to see that it was dark and filled with art supplies. "look, the last statue!" she points out, causing leon to walk over towards the girl.
"that's just what we need." leon smiled at the sight, only for it falter at the enclosed gates. "we're gonna need to make a detonator if we're gonna get out of here." he sighs, rubbing his forehead. faye looked at man as if he had two heads.
"leon, are you crazy?" she asked with a look of bewilderment written on her face. "do you know the amount of noise that'll make? not to mention the creatures that'll be lured to that sound?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows at leon.
leon shook his head, grabbing the blonde's hands. "faye, i need you to trust me." he spoke, looking down at her soft hands.
the feeling of his hands holding hers made her feel so safe. hell, anytime he touched her, she felt her worries go away. faye blushed softly, nodding at his words.
