FAYE paced back and forth anxiously, waiting for leon to return. this was all her fault; if she had insisted on going with leon, he wouldn't be going through the amount of trouble he's in now. she takes her gun out hearing the door next to her open. "don't shoot." leon held his arms up, looking at the blonde with tired eyes.
"leon!" faye runs over, pulling leon into a tight hug. leon smiles against her touch, holding faye back. "i'm sorry-- i should've done with you! you could've died a-and if i were there, maybe it could've made things—."
"hey, relax. i'm alive, aren't i?" leon questioned with a playful grin tugging onto his lips. faye smiled at his words, playing with her fingers.
"i'm glad you're alive." faye said with a soft tone in her voice, causing leon to blush softly. the two gaze into eachother's eyes for what seemed like forever. leon cups her cheek softly, leaning into her slowly. faye's breath hitched, leaning in to kiss leon as well. she could practically feel his warm breath hitting her face. her hearts starts to beat fast as she felt their faces come closer and closer. before the two could even kiss, there was a loud thud coming from the distance.
leon pulled away before placing his lips on her's, jumping a bit from the sound. "w-we should probably-."
"y-yeah, let's go." faye stuttered, watching as leon walked over to the gate, pulling the lever in front of him. the gate opened, only for the two to duck under it.
"ada?!" leon called out, scanning the dumpster for the fbi agent. "ada, where are you?!" leon called out once again, growing anxious at the thought of ada missing.
"over here!" both, leon and faye look at eachother before running towards ada. faye kneels down only to see that ada had a large shard of class injected in her thigh.
"shit." faye cursed. "ada, what the hell happened?" she questioned, furrowing her eyebrows at the injured woman.
"it's not important." ada shook her head, thinking about her foolish mistake. "what's important is the fact that you guys are here now." ada let out, sighing heavily, trying her best not to think about the glass in her leg.
leon kneels down, only for ada to shake her head in defeat. "i can't get it out." she frowned, looking away from the two.
leon looks at the wound awkwardly, hesitating to grab it. "i don't know if i should uh—."
"just do it, i can't walk like this." ada interrupted, feeling the pain in her leg burn even more.
faye furrowed her eyebrows at the woman's cut, shaking her head. "you're gonna bleed out." she commented, causing ada to glare at her.
"just pull it out!" she exclaimed, causing the blonde to jump up slightly at her shout.
leon nodded slowly, preparing himself to pull it out. "okay, it's gonna hurt." he warned, before pulling the piece of glass out.
