When I woke up the sun wasn't out yet. Kakashi was fast asleep next to me. His head rested lightly on mine. Trying not to make him fall over, I used my hand to support his head as I got up.
Looking down I saw his book was still open. Taking it out of his hand, I bent the corner of the page so he wouldn't lose his place.
I started poking his cheek. He grumbled in response, "There's no way it's morning yet."
"It's not. You can go back to sleep. I'm just letting you know I'm going out to train." I made my way towards the door.
He sighed, "Wait, I'll come with you."
"It's okay, I've been enough of a burden anyway. You should rest."
"Stop trying to push me away all the time." He stood up and stretched. "Either way, I should train too."
I smiled at him. "Okay then, I have something I've been wanting to work on. Could you help me?"
"Of course."
We walked out of the village and found a spot in the forest. I turned to face him and said, "I want to work on running away."
"Huh?" he looked confused.
"Incase I ever need to escape ya know? Besides, I need to work on sensing anyway."
"Okay then. Summoning jutsu." A dog then appeared out of nowhere.
"Kakashi, it's too early. What's going on?"
The dog talks? Well never mind, I remember some summons can talk. Komodo's can only talk through telepathy.
"Good morning Pakkun. We are going to help Rin train," Kakashi said.
"Who? Is this your girlfriend?"
"I-uh...no," he stuttered. We're just helping her train by tracking her down. She's going to try to avoid us."
Pakkun sighed, "Fine."
"Okay, give me a thirty second head start. If you find me attack me," I said.
"Wait what?"
I took off as fast as I could. Closing my eyes I sensed every tree in front of me. Thirty seconds passed and I knew Kakashi and Pakkun we're now after me. My mind went through ways to lose a ninja hounds track. Finding a river, I got in and went upstream a bit.
About thirty minutes passed and there were people approaching from the side. How did they know? That hound is better than I thought. As Kakashi tackled me I made a light night clone when he blinked.
"Got you, Pakkun thank you for your help. You can go back now," Kakashi said.
"Alright, see you later." Pakkun then vanished off.
My clone went in and kissed his cheek on his mask. When Kakashi got flustered I used that opportunity to pounce on him. Straggling him, I put a kunai to his neck.
"Hehe, I win," I giggled.
"That's cheating," he grumbled.
"Yeah yeah sure."
I noticed the position I was in and immediately heat ran to my cheeks. Kakashi was blushing as well.
"Oh-uh...sorry," I said as I got off of him.
He stood up as well. "It's okay. Do you want to head back?"
"Yeah sure," I said.
"Can I ask you something?"
I nodded my head and he went on. "That experiment you talked about. What did it do to you?"
"Well, it just gives me extra power really. I don't like using it though. The repercussion is burns to my body. Back then Tina would just heal them for me." I smirked, "Nobody knows that except you and Tina. So try not to tell anyone. Not even your pet dog."
"I won't," he said as he gave a thumbs up. "Oh, and whose Tina?"
On the way back to the village I told him how I met Tina. It was nice talking about an old friend. He kept his hands in his pockets the whole time and listened intently. I realized he wasn't reading his book unlike when he reads when Kellina talks to him.
"Sorry, I realized I'm talking to much," I chuckled.
"No, I'm enjoying it. You can-"
"Kakashi!"
"Oh no," Kakashi mumbled.
Kellina came running up to us. "I was worried, I thought you already left without saying goodbye."
Guy and Tenzo also walked up and greeted us. "We should get going," Kakashi said.
"Okay...well you're always welcome back Kakashi," she bubbled.
"What about me?" I asked jokingly.
"Of course not. You're not even part of the hidden leaf. Like Kakashi said, you're just a lost puppy."
Before I could say anything Kakashi spoke up. "Actually, she is with the hidden leaf now. We greatly appreciate her."
"That's right! We would be dead by now without her," Guy added.
This made me gush. "Oh stop, it was nothing."
Kellina frowned in response. "Ah whatever. You guys should get going..."
Kakashi, Guy, Tenzo, and I started the journey back home. Wait, home?
"Kellina was...uh...," Tenzo said.
"A pain in the ass," I muttered.
"You could say that again."
This time we'll get back to the hidden leaf much quicker. Without Kellina we can jump tree to tree. Kakashi and Guy were talking for a bit. Tenzo and I carried out a conversation for a few hours until Kakashi turned his head to look at me.
"I need to have a word with you tonight."

Off topic, but I have so much planned for this story. It's been a joy just writing it. At the moment, I'm working on two stories. So I'll be switching back and forth evenly. Also, I tend to edit a lot of past chapters. Don't worry they're just grammatical fixes, nothing else changes. I don't know if anyone reads this, but I enjoy writing it. If you are reading this I hope school is going well, because it's a pain for me.
