Chapter 16: Luna

My focus stayed on the ground the whole time. Saving energy is the best thing right now. At least Tenzo kept me company again.

About two two days and nights have passed. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened. Except for the fact Tenzo went from talking about the hidden leaf to asking questions about me.

"I've been curious about you Rin. What jutsu do you use?"

"Guess we'll have to fight tonight to find out."

He laughed and said, "I don't know if lighting style would be good against my earth or wood style."

"We'll just have to see." I lightly punched his shoulder.

Kakashi peeked behind his shoulder to look at us. "By tomorrow we should be at the village. So we should be at high alert tonight. Goran can show up at any moment."

I ignored his comment. "Guy what do you say? Let's make it two versus one. You and Tenzo will be on one team."

"Is this a challenge! If so I'm ready to win!"

I chuckled, "winner has to buy me sweets."

"What if you lose?" Tenzo asked.

"Then," I said as I showed my necklace, "I'll give you this. You two will have to decide who gets it though."

"A necklace? I don't see the importance but okay," Tenzo said.

"It's on!" Guy shouted.

Night soon came and it was time. I saved my chakra a while for this moment. Now it's time to let off some steam. I haven't used most my jutsu in apparently a thousand years. So I'm curious to see how this will turn out.

I hung my cloak up on a branch of a nearby tree. Guy and Tenzo were already ready. I've already seen Tenzo use wood style but not earth style. I don't know much about Guy. I've only seen him fight Kakashi at that competition a while back. Kakashi and Kellina were also here. They're going to watch from the side.

"You sure about this Rin?" Tenzo asked.

"Yes."

Right when I was about to take off my mask I heard a voice and froze. It was Goran.

"Good to see you guys again."

My eyes opened to see through the cloth. This time I can see him. His hair was still shoulder length and it was light brown. He had the same sword in hand as last time. The new thing is he brought many more people.

"The price is high for that girl," he said as he pointed to Kellina, "so I don't mind splitting the money to be able to kill the rest of you that are in my way."

Suddenly we were surround by a earth wall on all sides. The area was a large rectangle which we were trapped inside.

"Be careful with your next move. Since we are outside the wall, we can attack you from all sides. Give us the girl and there won't be any issues."

"Never," Kakashi said, "Stay close Kellina."

Kunai were then thrown at us from all sides. Just when I thought I dodged all of them, I was too late. One was coming in from the side. It's too close to dodge completely. Turning my head the kunai hit my mask shattering it. It left a small cut on my cheek. Looking down to see my mask in pieces, my blood began to boil. Rage began to run through me. The metal in my armor surrounding me with electricity.
