"So you do have a soft side," Kakashi said.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Surprisingly I was smiling. He could probably tell by the way I sounded.

"Well, I will still have my eye on you. I don't understand why you're being nice all of a sudden."

"Maybe because I'm an angel," I said jokingly. Am I really though?

Kakashi then completely changed the topic ignoring what I said. "Anyways, there's another ninja from the hidden leaf joining us for this mission. He should be here by tomorrow morning. His name is Tenzo, but call him Yamato. Stay in this area I will come get you tomorrow morning." Without even saying goodbye he was gone.

He doesn't trust me. That's why he's not letting me camp with them. Oh well I'm use to being by myself. Guess this gives me time to take my mask off. Need to wash my face anyway. I heard a small stream nearby and followed the sound. There it is. I got on my knees, and took my mask off. The moonlight stung a little, but it was bearable. The scenery around here was beautiful. Then something in the water caught my eye. My own reflection.

Whoa, I'm pale. Eyes still a light blue color. I then put the hoodie down revealing my hair. I removed the long hair that was tucked in the robe. My hair is, silver? What happened it use to be red. Was it the ice? My eyebrows faced the same fait too. I don't know how to feel about this. Undoing my braid, my hair reached the middle of my back.

After staring for about five minutes it was time to wrap everything up. I put my hair back into a braid, put my hoodie up, and put my mask back on. Now where to sleep? Two options, on a tree branch or on the ground. There. Spotting a perfect tree branch. Not like I have a sleeping bag so a tree branch would do better anyway. Trying to get around without seeing took so much of my energy. Hopefully no more busy villages for a while. About ten minutes pass, and I finally fell asleep.

"Rin wake up!"

I'm really not a morning person. Blue outline of a ninja with spiky hair, and the same ninja outfit as yesterday. Kakashi. He was above me on a different branch.

"Why are you sleeping on a tree branch anyway. Don't you have a sleeping bag to sleep on the ground?" he asked.

"No, I don't."

He then asked another question, "What do you have in that bag anyway?"

I responded, "I'll show you what I have in my bag, if you tell me about the books you read."

He sort of laughed and replied with a voice crack, "Never mind."

What does this guy read?

"We are leaving now by the way, lets go."

You've got to be kidding me. I quickly got up and grabbed my bag. While attempting to jump to the next limb, I suddenly got lightheaded. Did I get up to fast? Missing the branch I was then falling. Is this really how I'm about to die? Why did I sleep on the branch that didn't have any other branches below it? This has got to be the lamest way to die. I was so close to hitting the ground; then suddenly I was caught bridal style. I'm no damsel in distress, even if I am falling to my death. Also, out of all people, why Kakashi? He's going to give a snarky remark.

"Maybe you aren't as good as Lee and Guy think you are."

There it is. I know he's smirking right now.

I immediately got out of his arms and didn't say a thing. I just need to keep moving.

We met up with this Tenzo and the others. They finally told me what this mission was about. It's just an escort mission. I thought it was lame, but apparently this person is of upmost importance, and has a lot of targets on his back. So now it's time to head north where they're meeting this woman.
