It was a quiet night. Kakashi, Guy, Tenzo, and Lee took turns on lookout duty. Kellina fast asleep in her sleeping bag. It was silent until late in the night when Lee was on watch.
Rusting in the bushes caught his attention and he went to check it out. It was the man and he was walking straight to the girl. How'd he slip by me?
"Stop!" Lee yelled.
Lee jumped from the tree branch and landed in front of the man. Immediately the rest were on high alert once woken up.
"I never had the chance to introduce myself," the guy said not fazed at all. "My name is Goran Hojin. I never told you about the weapon I have. This here, " he said while taking out his sword like weapon, "is nicknamed the sword of death. To be stabbed with this causes crippling pain."
"Like a normal sword? I don't know about you but shouldn't being stabbed by a sword be crippling pain as well?" Kellina sassed.
"Lots of confidence for a girl whose about to die," Goran rebuked nonchalantly.
She went silent in fear.
"You won't be killing her," Kakashi growled while lifting up his forehead protector revealing his left eye.

"Ahhh, a sharingan. Too bad that won't be helping you this fight Kakashi Hatake. Also, you didn't let me finish you brat. For that I won't even help you guys out by telling you about the swords other abilities. I already gave you a warning, and you all ignored it. Hope you're ready to die," he spoke with killing intent.
"Lee, take Kellina to safety. Protect her if any threat reaches you. Us three will take care of this guy," Kakashi ordered.
Lee picked up Kellina bridal style and started running off.
"Oh no you don't, "Goran sneered. He started running after her but Guy cut him off. He prepared his sword and went offensive on Guy. At the same time Kakashi and Tenzo positioned themselves to attack as well.
"Wood style!" Tenzo shouted as wood spread from his arm. However, The sword cut right through the wood.
"What?" Tenzo said shocked.
Kakashi observed Guy, who was still on defense against Goran. "Be careful Guy. We don't know what that sword can do."
"You got it!" Guy declared.
"In the meantime, Tenzo use a wood clone to help Guy. We need to evaluate everything that sword can do."
"Right," Yamato agreed and created a clone to help attack.
Suddenly Goran vanished.
"Did he just, disappear?" Tenzo stammered.
"No, he's just really fast. Stay on alert," Kakashi spoke as he used his sharingan to evaluate what was happening.
"Looking for me?"
Before any of them could react Goran was behind Guy. Guy attempted dodge his sword, but was nicked in the arm.
"So that crippling pain was a lie," Guy said jokingly.
Goran just chuckled at Guy's comment before attacking again. This time targeting Tenzo's clone. Swiping right through it with ease, the clone was done for.
"He's really fast..." Tenzo mumbled to himself.
Tenzo was on defense when Goran went after him. Tenzo was quick but the sword was quicker. His hand got a cut on it before Goran's attention went to Kakashi. He suddenly disappeared again.
Guy spoke up, "Kakashi we need to attack all at once! His sword has not done anything to us-"
"No," Kakashi interrupted before continuing. "His speed is too much, and pay attention. He already cut you two and is going for me now. This is leading up to something. No matter what we must hold him until Lee has time to reach safety, wherever that may be. The next time he attacks let me handle it. I can match his speed and save Lee time."
"Let's test that out," Goran said while appearing behind Kakashi, ready to strike. With kunai in hand, Kakashi blocked Goran's blows one after another.
"Wow you really are as fast as me. This will be fun," Goran exclaimed.
"Chidori!" Kakashi shouted as lighting gathered into his hand. The electricity creating the reminiscent of many birds chirping.
He charged towards Goran at full speed. At the last second Goran dodged causing Kakashi's attack to hit a tree.The sound echoing throughout the whole forest.
"Definitely don't want to be hit by that," Goran uttered to himself.
Kakashi then threw a kunai towards Goran's head. Goran deflected the kunai with his sword.
"You're getting rather annoying Kakashi. Just give up. Accept that you're going to die," Goran spat out. Just then Goran sped forward and stabbed Kakashi in the heart.
"Nice job. You got me," Kakashi said coldly. He was behind Goran with a kunai to his neck. The Kakashi who was stabbed then disappeared, leaving just a log.
"You really think that would fool me?" Goran hissed while suddenly appearing behind Kakashi. He attempted to dodge but Goran's sword slightly cut his neck.
"Perfect. Blood paralysis jutsu!"
Kakashi, Tenzo, and Guy suddenly fell to their knees. Pain flooded through their body.
"What...is this..." Tenzo whispered under his breath.
Goran laughed before explaining, "This jutsu can only be undone by the blade being in contact with your blood again. I'll let you all free of this jutsu. By stabbing your hearts of course."
He sauntered up to Kakashi. "You'll be first, since you've caused me the most trouble."
