No one's POV :
The last rays of the orange sun were caressing the girls' faces. The air was warm and dry, and it smelled like pine trees.
You could hear the gentle whistles of the birds calling out to each other. The song of two lovebirds blending perfectly with the deep pitched hoot of an owl.
The lake was perfectly stable. It mirrored the sunset before them with immaculate precision.
Calm. Everything was calm.
Half finished bottles of whisky were laying in the sand. The ice blocks, melted away into a small puddle.
A slight breeze flowed through Sana's hair but she felt warm. The small body laying onto her heated her both inside and out.
She didn't quite know it yet, but that little flame was slowly but surely growing into a blaze.
But it wasn't that crazy fire, the one that would consume you, no.
No, it was the long-lasting chimney fire you always longed to have during a cold winter. The one you waited all day long to get back to.
Yes, it was that kind of fire. The one that would bring you comfort and reassurance.
Peace. For just a moment. Appreciating the sunset and all of its scenery, the girls were at peace.
Silently, they watched the last rays of the sun disappear from their face, and with that the freshness of the night rising.
"Well, whisky warms up the insides but it's starting to get frisky out here you guys" Lisa said. How sad she was to see her love cuddling up in the arms of someone else.
"Yeah" Jennie said "let's get our asses back inside and get this party started"
"What do you mean party?" Sana asked. Dahyun sat up and turned towards her.
"Right we forgot to tell you, we kind of threw a party tonight"
"A party? Seriously ?" Sana didn't really like the idea, they were supposed to train in the morning. Well she was supposed to train.
"Not like a full blown party" Rosé said "more like a chill night where a group of friends share one or multiple bottles of alcohol"
"And where on earth are you going to find the alcohol" Sana said "cause we're surely not chugging my good whisky"
The girls were left dumbfounded. They hadn't thought about that.
"Shit we're so stup-
"I brought booze" Jihyo said. All the head turned to her immediately "what? We went grocery shopping on Thursday. When the organization came to fetch or more like kidnap us I took the booze we were supposed to drink during our vacation. You didn't think I was going to leave it at home" smiles rapidly grew on the girls' faces.
"Jihyo you're a god!" Nayeon screamed.
"Let's get this party started" Jeongyeon added.
"Chill night, it's a chill night" Rosé tried to correct. But it was no use, all the other girls' minds were set on having a party. She sighed hopelessly accompanied by Sana.
The girls got up, Dahyun grabbed Sana's hand and they all headed toward the facility.
Before they arrived in the room Sana called everyone's attention "Hey you guys! We should invite the members to come with us. I'm not a good example if I party all night. It'll be good team building, plus I'd like to get to know Rain and the others better" the mention of Rain made Dahyun boil inside but she nodded.
