Chapter 27 : First 🔞🔞

Sana POV :

What a wonderful week this has been. I don't think I've ever been this happy.

This have been calm at the base. Mom, Rain and I are working on a new plan to attract my father's attention.

Rain didn't want to work with me at first, but I think he remembered why he was here in the first place, to take my father down.

As I've always believed, sometimes you have to work with people you don't trust, people you don't like to achieve you goals. It's hard, but it's worth it.

It's not the way you do things, it's why you do them. And the reason we are doing this is bigger than him and I alone.

Apart from all of this business, everything has been running smoothly. Dahyun and I went on a date earlier. We watched the sunset from the little beach on the lake and took our picnic there.

Her beauty amazes me every single day. With every different colored light, her skin glows in various ways, reflecting the colors perfectly which never ceases to amaze me.

Her eyes are always full of wonders, looking at a bush, the sand and the sunset like she'd never seen them before.

Looking at me like she'd never seen me before, as I do her.

With every minute that passes by, I rediscover the girl I've fallen deeply for, and every minute I fall deeper.

We played around in the sand, watched the clouds trying to spot the shapes they formed as they moved. We then had our picnic accompanied with a bottle of wine. Finally we laid in the sand, hands intertwined, watching the stars.

None spoke, we were just looking at the universe above us. It was comfortable.

With her I'm comfortable, she makes me feel at home.

This, this is what I need, what I've always needed. Just to feel... to feel good.

Genuinely good.

It's what I'm feeling right now, watching her brush her teeth while I lay in bed.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" She asks me raising a brow and smiling.

"I'm enjoying the view" I answer.

"Wasn't the view beautiful enough by the lake?"

"It was" I sigh "but the view here is better" she chuckles at my antics.

She spits in the sink and rinses her mouth "you and your sweet talk"

"Don't you love it?" I wiggle my brows.

She playfully hits my arm "hmm, almost as much as Saida" she smirks. This girl...

"Come here" I open my arms and she lays by me, cuddling up in my side. I look down and I'm faced with those beautiful eyes. The ones I'm lucky to go to sleep and to wake up with "thank you for tonight Dahyunie it was a great idea"

"Thank you for agreeing to come haha" she gives me her adorable eye-smile.

"Well I wouldn't dare to let my girlfriend go on a date by herself"

"I'd hope not"

We both laugh as she cuddles in even closer to me. Our noses touch and I turn my head side to side, rubbing our noses together giving her esquimau kisses.
