Chapter 25 : Eunha

No one's POV :

Two hours later...

The girls were peacefully eating and talking in the cafeteria. Mina and Chaeyoung had decided to have their date at sunset since the weather allowed it.

"So, Rosie you're like really cool with Chaeyoung and Mina? Like it doesn't matter to you at all?" Nayeon asked.

"Oh no it matters to me" she says as she takes a mouthful of ramen "I'mphf haphfy for themphf"

"What now?" Jeongyeon said as all the other girls were laughing.

Rosie gulps "Mianhe, I said I'm happy for them"

"Aww that's sweet" Jihyo said.

"Well it's nor-

Their conversation was interrupted by a scream "TO THE BASE NOW, TONIGHT'S TEAMS ARE INJURED LET'S GO PEOPLE, LET'S GO!" A commotion began in the cafeteria all the members were rushing to finish their meals and to the exit.

"What's going on?!" Momo asked.

"Don't panic, let's try to grab someone and ask" Jihyo said.

Everyone was worried about what they had just heard especially Dahyun.

Jihyo grabbed someone by the shoulder "what happened?" She asked.

"Tonight's operation went very wrong, people are injured we have to go fetch them for surgery"

"What?!" Dahyun screamed "what about Sana?!"

The guy was hesitant to answer. Dahyun grabbed his shirt "TELL ME!"

"We have no news since they've left the scene. I'm sorry I have to go"

Dahyun's mind went blank. She became paler then usual and collapsed.

Luckily Jeongyeon and Jihyo grabbed her before she hit the ground "DAHYUN! Dahyun-ah!"

She was crying "she's dead"

The girls surrounded their friend trying to comfort her "hey we don't know that, she's probably just fine you know how tough she is"

"She's dead and I didn't even, I-I" that's when it hit Dahyun. In that desperate moment that's when she finally realized the truth "I never even fucking told her I loved her"

"Well hallelujah!" Jihyo screamed "our Dahyun has finally realized she loved Sana praise the lord!"

She made the girls, including Dahyun, laugh just a little bit.

"Now don't worry Dubu, Sana will be fine, I'm sure of it. Dry those tears and let's go to the base to see if we can get anymore information alright?" Dahyun nodded and so did the rest of the girls.

It wasn't for nothing that Jihyo was the friend group's leader. Her calm and straight mind (literally only straight mind) was the glue between the girls. In times of crisis she was able to hold them all together while dealing with the problem and she was doing the same thing right now.
