Chapter 24 : The operation

No one's POV :

11:30AM in the meeting room.

Sana entered the meeting room where her mother and Rain were seated.

"So, the both of you run this organization ?"
Sana headed towards the cabinet and took out a glass for herself.

"Well not quite, Rain runs the operations, I run the facility, we have very generous shareholders and donors such as your uncle Jungsig which helped us build this place and find the staff as well as some experienced strategists who should be- Sana don't you think it's a little early for that?" Sachi was eyeing her daughter who had just poured herself a filled glass of whisky on the rocks.

"It's 7:00PM somewhere"

Sachi scoffed "as I was saying some of the strategists should arrive at anytime now to tweak the plan on tomorrow's operation"

"Right so, where and at what time is dear old dad arriving in Korea ?"

"We believe he'll arrive at the Jungwon air base, he has partners who practically own the place. Tomorrow, early morning" Rain says.

"So what's the plan ?"

"A display of strength" Sana raised a brow. "We put you right in front of his nose yet out of his reach"

"And how do you plan to do that?"

"Snipers"

"Please and you think he won't have any?"

"He won't have you" Rain stated seriously "if he doesn't secure you he won't risk your life"

Sana laughed hysterically "wow, well you really don't know my father do you ?" She continued laughing "age 6 he threw me in the middle of a lake then returned to the dock and waited there to teach me how to swim"

"He won't risk you" Sachi repeated.

The door opened. "Ah welcome!" Sachi exclaimed "we were just discussing the plan" the strategists took seats and began planning everything.

3hours, 1 bottle of whisky and 8 sandwiches later...

"I don't like the plan" Sana said "but I will roll with it, only because I have the full confidence that if it fails I'll be able to save myself. My condition is the escape car"

"Ms Minato-

"A black BMW X6 M competition, with tinted and bulletproof windows thank you"

"Ms Mina-

"Get me the car, I'll get the rest done. When you work with good equipment and a good plan B, then you do good work. Give me a water gun and a kiddie car I can assure you the result won't be the same"

"How do you suppose we get such a car in such little time Sana?" Her mother asked.

"Here" Sana was handing her mother a piece of paper.

"What's this?"

"The address whoever's getting the car will be going to. My keys are in under the sink of the bathroom in my apartment"

Sana's mother was looking at her with annoyance.

"Oh come on, I was just joking I wouldn't have asked for such a specific car if I didn't have it" everyone sighed in relief.

"You're an idiot" Sachi said nonchalantly.

"I was getting bored"

"Whatever, so we're all good? Rain you've run the inventory, all is good to begin the setup?"
