Who Killed Lana?// Ryland Storms

"Baby I had to do it." said Ryland. I've been watching him for nearly half an hour and I guess he finally lost his mind. He is talking with someone but problem is there is no one.

"Darling I told you, I did what has to be done." he sat down to table and started to make cereals for two.

  I texted Kio. "Kio I guess Ryland is not okay."

He started to eat, he was still talking and laughing. "Wish you could see her face Lana, she was so happy, she really thought she will be owner of company. She doesn't even know that I'm playing with her."

Kio called me back. I went to backyard to talk with Kio.

"Adds what happened?" asked Kio. "I'm out with Jaden, do you want us to come?" Then Jaden took the phone from Kio and started to talking.
"Addison is he overdosed again?"

"No, he is not overdosing but he is tripping for sure. I guess he is seeing Lana, he is talking with her." I said.

"We are coming." said Kio and they ended the call.

A few minutes later door bell ringed. I opened and let Jaden and Kio in.

"Ryland look who is here." I said. Jaden walked to Ryland, Kio was looking at Lana's photos.

"Oh look Lana your 'babies' are here." said Ryland.

"Ryland who are you talking to?" asked Jaden.

"Are you fucking stupid?" he asked.

"Ryland Lana is not here." said Kio. "I know it's hard for you but you have to accept that she's gone."

"It's bullshit." said Ryland. "You're just jealous."

"Wish it was but it's real. Lana is dead Ryland. You're tripping, it's a delusion, she is not here." said Kio.

"Jaden maybe you should talk with him." I said. "Probably he will listen you."

"Yes, Kio you stay with Addison, I need to talk with Ryland in the garden." said Jaden. Jaden and Ryland went to garden, we sat on the couch with Kio.

"Are you living with him?" asked Kio.

"Mostly." I sighed. "My mom and I, we are not in good terms lately."

"Isn't it hard living with Ryland?" asked Kio.

"Yeah, extremely hard. Basically I'm sitting here and watching him ending his life slowly. He doesn't eat anything, doesn't sleep, always smoking and using drugs." I said.

"Yeah, I saw the dark circles around his eyes and the bruises on his arms, around his veins." he said. "Lana was using drugs but she never looked like this, also she has no scars on her body, but before her death, when we were doing a pool day, I noticed she had a scar on her stomach which wasn't there before."

"Yeah, she wasn't taking drugs from her veins. The scar is on her stomach is because of Avani. Avani stabbed her." I said.

"What?" he suprised. "When? Did you know that? Why didn't you tell me? Oh my God, how much did it hurt?"

"Calm down Kio. I wasn't know, I learned after reading her diary. Apparently Avani stabbed her and pushed her into pool, basically she left her to death but Ryland saved her and stitched her wound." I get up. "What if I threw all this pills into trash?" I asked pointing the drugs standing on the kitchen counter.

"Ryland needs rehabilitation, you should convince him before he kills himself." said Kio. He looked at me. "I have an idea. You know, Nessa owned her own creator house with Cynthia and Lauren. Riley moved into New York for college and Quinton turned back to Canada for finishing high school, he will stay there for a year, so we have free rooms in house. You can move into, so you can be closer to Mads, Noah and Bryce."

"Really?" I asked.

"Of course you can move into. Besides Lana's room is free too. We never entered her room after her death, it's locked forever but if you want you can stay there. She left her all legacy to you, you have a right to use her room."

"I'll stay in her room." I said. "But Ryland is not good, what if he kills himself when I'm not with him?"

"Talk with him. He needs rehabilitation and therapy." he said.

"You don't know him. He will never go to therapy." I sighed.

"You think? Look, Bryce was a mess, literally he was a mess. He couldn't handle Lana's death, we found him million times crying in his bathroom and trying to end his life but we convinced him to get a therapy. If we convinced him, we can convince Ryland too." Kio hold my hand and smiled.

I hugged him. "Kio, you were my favorite from all the boys that Lana dated."

"Really?" he asked.

"Yeah, and you will always be."
