While You Was Sleep

I walked in the house, I put my food in the microwave, and I went upstairs to get in the shower, I plugged my phone up and turned Pandora on, and I stripped out my clothes and climbed in the shower, when "Remember part two, by Keyshia Cole" started playing, I was stood under the hot water, and my thoughts started racing, and going over all the events that happened today!

Before I knew it I started crying! I was alone, scared. I just wanted everything to go away! I stood in the shower for forty-five minutes! I finally climbed out, dried off, grabbed a t-shirt and climbed in the bed. I turned my phone off cause I didn't want to be bothered at all...I cried myself to sleep!

I thought I was dreaming, sometimes dreams feel so real! I thought someone was watching me sleep, I jumped up and turned the light on and it was Dee sitting in the chair watching me sleep! I thought about it I was going to yell, but I couldn't find the energy to do so! I simply just asked him...What are you doing here? I went and climbed back in the bed, he moved closer and he sat on the edge of the bed and he had a box in his hand...

I said can you answer my question! He finally replies saying "I've been sitting here watching you sleep for the last few hours, trying to get my thoughts together about what I had to say to you, Brittany I'm sorry, I've done some things I should have but I jumped the gun thinking you stepped out on me when I had no idea if you did or not!" I asked him what's in the box. *He hands me the box* I open it up and I see (ultrasound pictures, pictures of us, funeral programs, a picture from our first date, from him being in the hospital, from me being in the hospital)
