Mozzie didn't stay upset for long, which I expected since he did that a lot. He kept coming by again and now that it had been a week he was completely over it. I knew Peter was coming soon but I was busy cleaning up the mess Jaxon had made since he was more hyper than usual today. I was only able to clean up now since he had crashed on the couch.

-Peter's POV-

When I approached Neal's room I could hear something falling and then I heard Neal yell something, I knocked on the door once I reached it and after a second it opened, Neal wasn't who had opened the door though. I looked down at who had opened it, the little boy looked up at me with his bright blue eyes, "Uhm......Neal?" I called into the room.

"Hey! I told you not to answer the door anymore, didn't I?" Neal gently told the little kid, this kid couldn't have been much older than 3. "Sorry Peter, been a little busy, couldn't get to the door before him" Neal told me as he picked the kid up, ruffling his dark brown hair a little before stepping  out of the way and opening his door more. Neal picked some stuff up off the table before setting the kid on his bed and handing him the coloring stuff, "just stay there, calm down" he gently ordered. "So what was it you needed to talk about?" He asked me as he walked over to the table.

"Well, it can wait now. Why is there a kid here?"

"Jaxon? He's my son"

"What? How do you have a kid?"

He shrugged, "Shouldn't you know?"

"You know what I mean"

"Yeah, well he was born when I was in prison but he's still mine" he smiled a little bit.

"Why does he live with you?"

"He doesn't have a mom anymore, he hasn't for two years now"

"Do you know what happened?"

"No. I just know she died"

"So where was he before?"

"His mom's friend had him. She was more than glad I could take over custody now" he smiled a little bit as he said that.

When we finished our discussion about the case I looked over at Jaxon who was still scribbling on some paper, "what?" Neal asked me when he realized I was watching Jaxon.

"So, if Kate isn't his mom, who is?"

He sighed, "do we have to talk about this?"

"Yes, I want to know"

"Evonne Couture, I met her when I was in France at a time that Kate and I weren't together. We ran back to New York together, if she hadn't, she would have been arrested at some point there. She wasn't Kate but I did love her, we didn't last long though, only a week and then I got back with Kate, and after that you arrested me" he explained.

"What did Evonne do?"

"I'm not going to talk about this, right now, okay?" He turned away and sat down at the table to look at stuff, I walked over to Jaxon who looked up at me for a second when I came over then back at the papers. "What are you coloring?" I gently asked him as I knelt down next to the bed.

"Scibbles" he responded as he stuck a crayon in his mouth and flailed his paper in front of my face.

"You're not pretending it's anything?" I asked as he put the paper down again and took his crayon out of his mouth.

"No no what dat mean"

"It's when you act like something is what it isn't" I tried to explain but he looked up at me confused.
