-Peter's POV-

"So, I was thinking we could leave around 11:30, and then we would get there by this afternoon"

"Alright" Elizabeth agreed as she packed.

"Are you nearly done packing?"

"Yes, what about you? I haven't seen you do any packing"

"I came up here to start doing that. We aren't going to be gone very long and so it won't take me that long to pack"

"Which is why I'm done packing" she smiled as she closed her bag.

"Hello? The door was unlocked so at least one of you is home" Neal yelled from downstairs.

"Did you know he was coming over?" I asked El.

"No. You didn't?" I shook my head and left the room.

"Neal! What are you doing here? Why did you just walk into my house?" I asked.

"I knocked, you didn't answer and the door was unlocked, I didn't break in. I was thinking we could stay here during the storm" he suggested.

"You still entered without permission. And no, you can't, we are leaving"

"Well they could come with us" Elizabeth offered from the stairs.

"No, he can't"

"Peter he needs somewhere to go right now"

"Neal can't leave the city"

"But I could, if I was with you and you cleared it, you can still keep an eye on me the entire time" he suggested.

"I'm not doing it Neal, you can stay in your apartment" when I told him that he looked up at Elizabeth.

"Peter, the hurricane is going to reach the city tomorrow, Neal doesn't want to stay here during it but he can't leave on his own. You have to help him" Elizabeth demanded.

"It's my parents" I whispered to her.

"I'm sure he'll behave" she whispered back.

"Can't you stay with anyone else?" I asked Neal.

He shook his head, "June's left to see her daughter and Mozzie is staying at a safe house because he doesn't believe there's an actual threat since it was a government warning. I can't stay here Peter" he looked at me, pleadingly. He tilted his head towards Jaxon who was playing with Satchmo in the living room, "you don't want to take me with you, then fine, but take him"

I looked over at Jaxon then at Neal, I sighed, "No, you can come. But the rules are no different"

"Alright, I'll be on my best behavior" he smiled, "I need to go run home and grab our stuff" he informed me.

"Okay, we are leaving in three hours so you do have until then but I'm still tracking you so don't think that you can just do what you want until we leave"

"What am I gonna do?" He questioned before leaving.

"Where are we going?" Jaxon asked as soon as the door closed behind Neal.

"My parents place, it's up north in Syracuse. Know where that is?" I asked, kneeling down to him.

He nodded, "you have parents?"

"Of course I have parents. Everyone has parents"

"Mozzie doesn't, I only have one"

"Mozzie does have parents, he's just never met them. You have a mom, you don't remember her......know that story your dad tells you, the one he calls your story and is about your mom and dad?" He nodded, "he's never told you anymore about her?"
