Blast from the past

April and Jackson just finished a surgery, they are walking towards the nursing station. "There's Doctor Kepner" Meredith points to the man. The man turns around, "APRIL!" the man calls excitedly, "Chris?" They hugged tightly. "What are you doing here?" April asked, "I heard that you are getting married, I flew as fast as I can to stop it" Chris jokingly says. "Oh, this is Jacskon, the fiancée" April introduced, "This is Chris, we're friends since we're like 6" April shares. "Nice to meet you" Jacskon says politely, shaking his hand. "Where are you staying?" April asked, "Hotel near here, You wanna have dinner?" Chris asked, "I can't actually. How about tomorrow?" April asked, "Sure, Jackson you should come too" Chris says. Jackson nods and smiles.

April gets the patients' chart and updates it, "You never told me about Chris" Jacskon says, leaning on the table. "It never came up, so" April chuckles. "So why is he here?" Jacskon asked, "I don't know, Jackson. I guess we'll know on dinner" April says, "Thank you" Aprils says to the nurse handing her the chart. "Don't worry, he's gonna stop the wedding" April teases. "See ya" April kisses Jackson.

Meredith is eating her lunch in peace when Owen speaks "Yang's here", He sits across Meredith. "Oh! I know" Meredith says, "She's not back for good, though" Meredith clarifies. "Are you okay?" Meredith asked, "Yeah, Yeah!" Owen nods, "I just thought you don't know, So uhm..I came.." Owen blabbered, "I need to go" Owen stood up and walked away. Owen bumped into April "Hey, Dr. Hunt have you seen Grey?" April asked, "Cafeteria" Owen replied without stopping. "Mer, Yang is here" April says, "I know!" Meredith replied, "Aren't you excited? your best friend is here" April asked, "I am, I will"
Meredith says flatly. April's phone chimes, "gotta go" April says, standing up.

April is waiting for the elevator. The elevator opened and she saw Arizona, April stepped in "How's your first day back?" April asked, "Good, good! I am glad to be back" Arizona replied, "You never told me what did Callie say when you decided move back" April says, The elevator opens, "I'll tell you about it" Arizona went out the elevator"

April performed a surgery with Meredith, "Have you seen Yang?" April asked, "Not yet" Meredith replied, "What's going on between you two?" April asked, "I didn't know that she'll come, she never told me" Meredith reveals, "Maybe she's just really busy or this a unexpected trip" April points out, "I don't know" Meredith replied, "Let's just focus on this" Meredith demanded, "Clamp" Meredith says to the nurse. "Are you done, Dr. Kepner?" Meredith asked, "Yes" April replied, "Do you want the residents to close, Dr. Grey?" April asked, "Yes" Meredith stepped away and went out. "You can close," April says and went out.

Later that day, Jacskon and April met in the parking lot. Jackson was there first, he saw April walking towards him. April looked zapped, "How's your day?" Jackson asked, and hugged April. "Tiring, Yang's here. She-she's so accomplished" April replied. "She is," Jackson agrees. "How was your day?" April asked, "I'm just happy that we are going home" Jacskon replied. They went inside the car. "By the way, your mom called" April informs, "asking me about our wedding plans" April added, "What'd you say?" Jackson, "I said we are still talking about it" April replied, "Did you tell my mom?" April asked, "Yeah, I asked her before I proposed and my mom too" Jackson revealed, April smiled. Jackson glanced at April as he started the ignition. "I told you, I want to do this right," Jacskon said proudly. "Want some dinner?" Jackson asked, "Chinese please" April replied.

They are eating in their home. "You wanna talked about the wedding?" Jackson asked, "Sure, what do you have in mind?" April asked, "Let's get married in a church" Jackson replied, "Really?" April asked, "A-huh, and Harriet is our flower girl" Jackson said, smiling. "I liked that, Let's do that," April smiled. "Who could've thought that after all we've been through we are going to be together again?" April asked, "I did" Jackson revealed, "Part of me wants to move on, sure. But deep down, I know it's you. Thinking about it now, maybe that's why my relationships after you really didn't work out. 'Cause I know that sooner or later I will do something to have you back, to have my family back" Jackson says in a serious tone, looking intently at April. "I grieved when you left, when you married Matthew. I realized everything. But I didn't do anything 'cause I don't want to do something to ruin your happiness" Jackson continued. April kissed Jackson. "Now, I am so happy. You have no idea" Jackson smiles. Jackson kisses April and hugs her.
